I've always believed that the ending melody takes longer than expected to finish is to complement the feelings of the lyrics, as representing an endless ending as Taeyeon describes it. Taeyeon has expressed on several occasions how she feels after finishing a concert, Tae loves to do Tours because she loves to see her Sones they transmit all their energy, their feelings and happiness to her and that fills her but when the concert ends the emptiness and the sadness she feel afterwards are inevitable.
