    So the XU6 can be used as switchboard operator?

      Yes the X6U a great switchboard phone for a small business. If your a larger business with 100+ extensions we use the x210 instead.

    This is good. I'm looking to convert a medical equipment business in western Canada to a SIP phone system. I see your hosting is HIPAA compliant, but it's not clear that Modern Telecom has a cloud presence in Western Canada. Bookmarked for further down the road.

      Feel free to give us a call when your ready. We have clients in all Canadian Provinces. Although HIPAA compliance is more unanimously recognized, here in Canada it's actually called PIPEDA which we follow more closely since we are a Canadian company.

    can these phones handle click to call from the mac or pc. i.e. so if I click on a phone number anywhere on the mac will it start the call on the fanvil. Thanks

      In our case, click to dial is handled by a browser plugin which remote controls the phone. The browser plugin is part of our hosted pbx offering.

    is it possible to see on the screen how many incoming calls i'm having at the same time? i mean, if I have 10 incoming calls. can I see the número 10 on the screen?

      Depending on how many simultaneous calls your pbx will allow it's possible to see multiple calls on the screen of the phone, we have tested up to 4 calls and it splits the screen into rows of calls. However, in high volume calling environments we usually set our customers up with a complimentary call que which will automatically put inbound calls on hold until you are finished with your active call and then our pbx will send the next call in que to you automatically so you are not having to juggle this manually from the phone.
