If you could, there are many hang out places in Yangon, video and share with others viewers. Not many people around the world know about Myanmar. As you know, Myanmar neighbour Thailand that everyone know about this country for tourism. In Myanmar, there are untouched so many beautiful places to visit and experience. The 19th streets is famous for local in old days, especially young aged group (20s somethings) hanging around with their mates to having drinks with BBQ meals, now it has changed a lots, but can recall old memories.... still lives... China Town.

I wasn't well off when I was a kid but I had a taste of BBQ once or twice on 19th street late 80s, early 90s. Boy, that was the best tasting meat I ever had at the time and I wished I could've eaten more.
It's sad to see the fact that good nature people of Myanmar had been enduring hardships of all sorts for way too long, at no fault of their own. Peace and prosperity to all in Myanmar! I live in myanmar.Yeh man i also have conflicted feelings about donating money. Some adults would just made the kids beg for money. And if i gave them the money isn't really used by kids but the adults would just take it for themselves. And only give them a portion of their earning sometime nothing at all. It is indeed a scandal. So what i did was buy some snacks from nearby store like something warm if i m near street food stalls and give it to the kids. That way the kids actually got smth.
I don't know if you have a Burmese name or not, but I think if you should call yourself "Ar kar," that would be very fitting as you go by Arky already. Both are very similar sounding names.
that's really cheap bro, for me when i go to eat i spent like almost $500 everytime. And the foods here are not as good as Myanmar's. But one bad thing in Myanmar is it's really hard to make money.
