Let’s be honest!!! Many Europeans can speak very good English! That doesn’t mean they are better than others giving answers, they just delivered the answers more fluently, but for me miss universe is not about being smart or the best speeches, BS!!! Is about a beautiful stunning woman, not a talker!! So if this was the case Finland is not my favorite to win I’m sorry for you all!!! Venezuela look way more stunning!! Thailand or even Argentina
The problem with Latin/Spanish-speaking girls is that they do to pretend not to understand English. When asked questions, they have to wait for the interpreter to translate them, and during that time, they have time to think about what to answer. I have seen this since about 1985. The girls who acknowledge they speak English have to answer the question immediately.
