for some reason where i connect my front panned to the mother board i have the power switch both + and - led switch’s but no reset switch! is this normal??
yes, not all cases have reset
Dude turned into an instrumental & a soundboard at the same time
It was completely unintentional but damnit it worked out perfectly hahah
Mine didn't come with a reset cable or speaker as far as I see. I have a ASRock b650m pro rs wifi mobo and a Apevia prism case.
Though the case did come with a power led - and +, a power line and the hdd line and that's all.
Also still not sure if I plugged in everything correctly still need to find a video for that all of it is just confusing for me!
This is a short, you can only get so much information from a short, I made the short from this video, you might also need the manual for your motherboard, you can find that on the support site for your motherboard, all motherboards have it, including yours , if you can't find it, let me know and I will get you a link to ut, but here's the full video th-cam.com/video/k6A3MG3yJzQ/w-d-xo.html
Don't worry about the connections your case and board don't have, since they don't have them.
My case has a LED switch, Where should i plug it? can i plug into my pwr_led socket?
It would help me to help you if I knew the manufacturer and model number of the case and your motherboard.

But mine is a dell optiplex 5040 it doesn’t say led plus or minus what do I do?
You're right, yours does not because it's a pre built, this is for custom built PCs. If you go to dells support site, enter your service code, there will be a section there where you can find documentation for your system and it will be in there, I believe called repair guides. The other thing you could do is just try one way, if it doesnt work, try the other, there's nothing there that will harm your pc.

@@ThisBytesForYou 🙏🙏 thank you! I found you from your Short clip, it was recommended to me when I was searching for “fan controller connector/power switch connection tutorial”
@@ThirdEyePsychology awesome bud, thank you so much, and I am so very happy I could help. By the way, if you felt it was missing anything, that short I pulled it from this video, it might help more : th-cam.com/video/k6A3MG3yJzQ/w-d-xo.html and thanks again.
@@ThisBytesForYou thank you! The short was so nice because how straight to the point it was, it was very very refreshing from all the other full size videos where people talk about everything but what i was trying to find, haha. Goodluck! Keep up the good work!
hahha, yeah I totally get it and again, I am so very happy I could help you and I thank you as well for your kind words, they mean a ton for me.
My pc case didn’t come with power led + - cables. I’ve seen some on Amazon but I’m not shure how I would connect the other end to the fans. Can somebody help me?
Would help if i knew the manufacturer and model number of your case
@@ThisBytesForYou my pc case is called the deepcool cc560. I just build my first pc and already having problems😢
that case does not have a power LED cable, so there is not light for that on the case, it only has power switch, hdd Activity led and reset switch. You would need to drill a hole into the case to see the LED light, and to add one. What issues are you having?
You can find the front panel headers for your case here: www.deepcool.com/download/pdf/CC560.pdf
So that I can help, please list the manufacturer and exact model number of the following components:
1. Motherboard - manufacturer and exact model number
2. CPU - manufacturer and exact model number
3. RAM - manufacturer and exact model number
4. Video Card - manufacturer and exact model number
5. Power supply - manufacturer and exact model number
6. Monitor - manufacturer and exact model number
Redundant I know, but many people forget to enter manufacturer and exact model number
7. Do you have ALL of the PCIE connections plugged in, and not daisy chained or pigtailed, each coming directly from the power supply?
8. Are you running through HDMI, DP, DVI, VGA, any adapters?
9. Is UEFI or Legacy Setup in the BIOS?
10. What slots do you have your RAM installed in?
11.Do you have CSM Enabled or Disabled in the BIOS
11. Installed latest supported chipset driver?
12. Have you disabled Fast Boot within Windows?
13. This video will help you identify hardware inside your PC: th-cam.com/video/65ZSiVImJx0/w-d-xo.html
@@ThisBytesForYou Motherboard is Asus B0B5M97W1T, Gpu is Nvidia Rtx 4060, cpu is Amd Ryzen 5 5600x, Psu is Apevia galaxy 650w 80+ gold psu, ssd is Lexar NM790 SSD 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280 Internal Solid State, ram is the 16 gb Kingston fury ddr4 ram.
@@ThisBytesForYou I followed a tutorial for the cables and stuff but the fans are supposed to be a light blue led and my fans don’t even spin. I’m pretty sure I plugged everything in correctly.
Still doesn’t work

I still have one cable with one pin which is the power button where do I connect that one ??😦
What is the manufacturer and model number of your motherboard
@@ThisBytesForYou I have a as rock b660m pro rs
did you watch this video, the 49 second one that we are chatting on?
@@ThisBytesForYou yes I did , is there a way I can send you a pic to see what I’m taking about ?
the power button has 2 pins, one ground and one power button, connect it to the one closet to the power LED but, you can find it on page 18 of your motherboard manual: download.asrock.com/Manual/B660M%20Pro%20RS.pdf or if you want , a more detailed video, you can find the one this came from which will help though, this short that we are chatting on had it too: th-cam.com/video/k6A3MG3yJzQ/w-d-xo.html

THANK YOU THANK YOU, I did not feel like watching a 24 minute videos and this was perfect!!! Everything works
24minutes if a bit long on that, I do have a 12 minute video that goes more indepth and talks more about all the connections, it helps people as well, some people learn differently and would like to understand more, while some just want it done and not have to worry about it now. When/if something happens later, you have to find this video again because you dont exactly know what happened, the 12 minute video will help you know that, if you are curious, check it out: th-cam.com/video/k6A3MG3yJzQ/w-d-xo.html
