I suspect it's likely to help with carrying weight in the centre (like some flatbed transport trucks) but not sure how that will affect terrain/boardgames, etc.
Go ahead, sit on it: You don't weigh 200 KG. (440LB) just make sure your weight is on its centerline, rather than the edge. Nice demonstration, looks like a great table, if the price is right.
I know! But when I bought the table, I got it like two days before a special occasion - if, by any reason (fabrication failure), it would NOT stand my weight, I would have no time to return it and get another one for the event 😁

So many years later and we still use this table in special occasions - yeah, it bothered me in the beginning, but I guess it settled with time (also, as soon as you put things on top of it, it gets completely flat). Very recently I recorded a review of a 3D Printer on top of this table, take a look: th-cam.com/video/FOARWNvAjBE/w-d-xo.html Anyway, you can always be sure of what you are getting by buying it “in person” and seeing it they get as flat as you need - you can find foldable tables EASILY in big retailers like Walmart, Costco, Carrefour and so many others around the world.
