Looks great but please pan around much slower couldn't take in detail as much as I wanted to. Some things I learned the hard way... porous stone mosaics need to be sealed prior to installation so water stains don't occur & grout doesn't stick to any divets or creveces. Remove and replace a few border stones to break patterns & keep from seeing grout borders looks more natural. Trowel should travel in one direction not circular around drain to better adhere tiles. Larger grout spaces can cause leakage so fill any bigger areas with pieces of stone. Cutting mosaics on wet saw can cause backing to fall off. Use a ledger board & start with second row of tile makes for more balanced look. Just trying to help those other DIY folks like me to learn i didn't comment to insult. Thank you for posting enjoyed watching.

ITS GOOD TO SEAL THE NATURAL.STONE PRIOR TO GROUT I USUALLY APPLY A 2PLE OF COATS OF IMPREGNATOR OR YOU CAN USE OTHER SEALERS IF YOU PREFER A WET LOOK AND SLIGHTLY DARKEN THE FINISH

Do you grout or silicone at the space where the wall tile meets the floor?

The pebbles looked like a completely different color , must have used ultracolor grout and not wash it off in time

Wow the color change drastically. They went from white to dark brown. Why?

I would have liked to know the type of grout you used for the river stone. I know you cannot ever use ready made Fusion because it will come up setting in the water because the grout lines are too large for fusion. Maybe put in year the grout you used so people do not screw it us.

Is it normal for water to pool in the corner? I just had a remodel with the same type of pebble stone base. I was told by the contractor that water collects between the stones. It’s supposed take longer to drain away. Hmmm. I can’t tell if I’m being hosed.

Is there a Pan liner inder that mortar bed and red guard on top ??

I noticed that as well. Everything I’ve read advised against waterproofing over a mud bed when a pan liner is installed.

Intro is too long, commentary not loud enough, music is too loud, camera moves too fast and not enough longer shots.
