- In this video, I will go over the upcoming banners of patch 2.2 from Honkai: Star Rail so you can decide which one will be more worth it for your account. I will touch on both 5 star rerun units, Topaz and Fu Xuan, their strengths and weaknesses, and also, what has changed for them since their initial banners in terms of builds, teams, and power level, and I will answer if you should either go for Topaz or Robin for a follow up team. I also go over the 4 star units, March 7th, Pela, Hanya, Xueyi, Luka, and Hook which will be available in both halves of the patch in the same manner. I took a massive break from 1.2 - 2.0, so I don't have a lot of the rerun characters and your videos are always invaluable when it comes to planning who to pull. I don't have a great preservation and a Seele, so I've been waiting for Fu Xuan to complete my mono quantum team. Glad to hear she still holds up well!
Iv got the same story iv not played sense selee but I came back for acheron welcome back random traveler :D also ready to get my mono quantum rolling aswell
Correction: March is not a good partner for Blade since he doesn't want to get 'hit' but rather 'hurt'. And a shield prevents hurting ;)
There is a bit of a cheesy strat where you can leave her shield not fully maxed and also focus more on EHR and Speed than DEF on the relics so you capitalize only on the increased aggro from the shield during the enemy turn as most likely the first 1 or 2 hits will break the shield and since the shield is not that thick you can get some damage done on Blade from the attack which breaks the shield to count on his passive. Again its a bit cheesy but its doable, but yeah, she is far better with Clara.
@@ProfessorVeritas She have a small anti synergy with Clara too since she kinda freeze the enemies which prevent Clara get atk ... just play lynx and avoid tingyun (the preservation emenator) then you should be good.
At that point just use Lynx who is also free

I haven't been using Xueyi much lately but I had her at E5 and just tried for her last eidolon on a whim today, even though I intend to skip Robin and Topaz. I got really lucky and it worked in one ten-pull, so now my Xueyi is finally E6! But I didn't understand why she was even on this banner, until I unlocked Harmony MC (I hadn't seen any leaks about her kit so the whole super break damage thing was news to me). Now it looks like I'll have a good reason to bring Xueyi back off the bench.
I also can't wait to pull Fu Xuan in phase 2, I really need a top-tier sustain and I like her tanky playstyle.
I went for Topaz's Light Cone, because I missed out last time. It's a game changer if you try to play Topaz Ratio, because you need to rely less on ultimates or characters like Silver Wolf to get Ratio's 100% follow up.
I plan to get Robin and her LC considering I don’t have Ruan Mei or Sparkle…but if I have enough jades+luck, I’ll try to get Topaz (and her LC) so I’m able to build a decent/good follow-up attack team…I don’t plan on getting the other banner characters. So overall, I’ll be low on jades for long time after Robin and Topaz banners lol
hanya's burden gives a damage boost to the character hitting the enemy, so it applies to AoE attacks so long as they hit the target. so not that single-target focused

I don't have a 5 star Harmony unit aside from Bronya, but, I am conflicted which to pull for the betterment of my account.
For starters, i want Boothill for his Dps capabilities and how he hilariously curses in the game most of the time. Second, he will indefinitely be paired well with Harmony TB
Second, I want Robin because she's overall so good to my 4 star DPS including to a few follow up DPS's i have such as clara and Dr. Ratio.
In short, I'm addicted to Dps units than getting myself supports that could really help my account in the future and now its coming to bite me.
I had plenty of wishes, until I missed 50/50 and 75/25 (hard pity twice) last banner. Now I'm at 0 pity, 10 banked wishes at banner start, and I'm picking Robin for now cause Physical is my least represented element.
Imma have to skip the whole of 2.2 I wanted to get Robin, but Firefly is around the corner and I won't have enough jades for her if I go for any characters now.
Hello, I would like some advice on who to pull. I like almost all the units that are in 2.2 and 2.3 so its hard for me to decide based on whichever unit I want. I dont have topaz, fu xuan, ruan mei (i know shes not in 2.2 banners). I recently got sparkle acheron aventurine (only 5* sustain in my account).
I was thinking of making a team with acheron/pela/sparkle/(fu xuan or Gallagher depends on who i pull). And for the other team (ratio/topaz again depends)/jade(idk if i can save enough for LC)/harmony support/aventurine...
With Jade leaks she looks good with FuA teams so I really don't know what to do.
Currently i have 47/90 pity for character banners and 7/80 for LC banners.
I only have 2k jades getting 9 tickets more from login event.
I havent done any new events/Pf yet.
Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you 😢
I did skip RM and did get Robin. But I like the idea of a follow up team with Topaz... But I want to save for Firefly... It's a interesting problem.

I’m going for Topaz, but I recently got Aventurine so definitely already have a powerful sustain unit. If I don’t get Topaz, would it be a bad idea to shoot for Fu Xuan? That way I feel like I wouldn’t need another sustain unit again lol
if you don't have a good second sustain yet it's definitely valuable to get her for moc, she's still one of the best sustains
It's never a bad idea to go for the most broken unit in the game :)
I'm using Lynx and March7th as my sustains. I like having one shield/heal for my teams. But it is okay to replace my Lynx to Huo Huo when she will come ?
I would say Huo Huo should replace March, as in general, Lynx is a more capable sustain unit, and having Lynx for one side and Huo Huo for the other is a better option

i lost my 5050 (74 pity) then got robin (17 pity)... im trying to mega grind jades rn to get topaz and fu xuan 😭 lucky for me... for the past 1 year i relied on my luck and jades from events so ive barely done most of the quests n stuff

I got adventurine recently and he carry my preservation needs i wonder if fu xuan is worth it still
My same thoughts... my only concern is that my Main DPS is Jingliu & Adventurine doesn't really help counter that...
@@MaestroMyke i dont have jing but a good avheron and some say fu xuan teams are better or shes powerproof blabla but im like.. im good? Might be a sidegrade to my gepard on second team but got his LC twice so idk
Fu Xuan is always worth it. Getting them both will pretty much guarantee you wont pull another sustain unit for a good amount of time. And you also need 2 sustain units for MOC and Pure Fiction.
Fu Xuan can easily sustain Jingliu teams, even more so with her signature, with that as well is a breeze. But she can do it even without it.
@@ProfessorVeritas i dont pull for sustain lc, not worth it imo. But i do have adventurine and gepard with his lc so thats my two sustains already as I said.

Help? I dont know if pull for robin. I have aventurine and ratio (with his Ligthcone). I dont have topaz. I am going to pull for boothill (yes or yes, i love the desing and personality) and I have bronya and sparkle but not Ruan mei.
I dont know if It would be better for my account to pull ruan mei in the rerun, Robin or topaz. :S help

I say if your going for boothill wait for ruan mei rerun and figure out if you want to run a follow up team (Dr ratio,aventurine,topaz,and robin) if you do pull for topaz and wait for robin rerun and get a ruan mei for boothill
Depends if you also have a secondary sustain unit, if you Aventurine is the only one on your account I would 180 degree turn it around and go for Fu Xuan, so you can fix this first. Now, regarding your initial options, depends if you love Boothill more than playing the follow-up team with Ratio and Aventurine, because Ruan Mei will be the best support option for Boothill going on what we know about him, while between Topaz and Robin, this will be the first rerun for Topaz so it might be a while before she comes back again compared with Robin, so if follow-up is your choice I would go for Topaz now, and Robin on the rerun. You could use Bronya easily in the Aventurine/Topaz/Ratio team until you get Robin for that team as well.

Harmony I have all but ruan mei and Robin. Included sparkle, bronya, hanya e6, tingyun e0
And yeah I want boothill a lot. I Love the space cowboys type. Hmmm... So I think I Will pull for topaz. Since I think I have enough for her and boothill and when ruan mei comes back I Will pull her since I was thinking on skip Jade and firefly.

Well, you got the right element at least :). Jokes aside Clara is pretty good and you have a guaranteed now and the 2.3 units are looking nice
Build Clara right and she will treat you well in your follow-up teams, especially in SU with plenty of Elation blessings.
