Met the lead player from Kingsnake on a night in a poorly attended gig. When I apologised for such a low turnout he said it' s just the blues. Just the blues, I love them especially when they are played with this quality. Keep it up.

Good memories. I turned 70 last year. But when I turned 16 and could drive, I'd take my camera and harp and hit as many blues clubs as I could. In the outlying areas of the SF bay area, there were old country granges. Old agriculture meeting and get together halls. I guess dust came up thru the old floorboards. People danced like they were just part of the dust. It was beautiful.
Same here at 15 and as of today 66 and still listening. A good glass of bourbon and the blues. Not for everyone but then again I'm not one of the crowd. Different drum beat.
My hubbie, who was also my soulmate through and through, passed away in 2020 and he used to joke a little sometimes when he he used to say things like this, maybe in a slightly different version, more like "life sucks and than you die" but hé, it is almost the same to me. It is bittersweet to listen to this, makes me smile and tear up at the same time.............
Blues seem to tell such a soulfully heart felt story... And when you add singing and a harmonica or any other kind of musical instrument the story becomes deeper.
Great blues song, Found the Blues in my 60's they take my soul where I can live in a world of pure happiness and joy. God Bless and thank you for making my life happy.

When I was a young boy in Illinois, just 20 miles from St Louis, Mo there was no FM yet & “music” on the radio consisted of Bing Crosby, Perry Como & Tennessee Ernie Ford ...... Yuk! So, I listened to the black stations out of St Louis. I first heard Ray Charles in 1949 - the song was “A Sinner’s Prayer”...... I was 13. Here I am, an 84 year old white guy who still loves the blues & thank The Lord for UTube!
