I had one of those 900's a few years ago. Loved it and toured all over the place on it. The only thing I did was get a more comfortable seat made for my using the original base. Could ride it all day. I just got some soft panniers and a back pack on the pillion seat for all my luggage. You are going to love that bike.
Hi Mark, Nice bike and I think you’ll find the power absolutely fine. In my experience you can tour on any bike, some can just take more kit than others.
A stunning looking bike. I’m also thinking of dipping my toe into biking and the bikes in your shortlist are exactly the sort that I’m interested in. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with it. Such a great looking bike, I bet you can’t stop looking at it 😊
A great bike. I passed my test in April and pushed the boat out and got a used triumph speed master. Lovely smooth bike with a low seat. Enjoy your riding!
Hi Mark, congratulations on getting your beautiful motorcycle. of course, that's exactly the right choice! why? because it's the one you really want, bikes ain't bought based on reason ;) but, of course, keep some space clear in your shed, bikes tend to multiply! have fun!
Well it's a triumph 😂 wasn't that one made in Thailand? 3000 that's a good deal but it's really a 1980s superbike if you know. Honest reliable motoring noice
Yep! Thailand from 2008 on I think, I guess that’s just the reality of modern manufacturing if you need to keep to a budget 😂 yeah for 3k I’m pretty pleased and hopefully not a whole lot to go wrong 🤞
@granblogismo I guess it doesn't really matter as long as it's got the manufacturing quality, I'm looking at getting the new Aprilla 457 rs and it's made in India or even a CFmoto 675. I think there's a real changing of the guard in respect to new countries starting to take over manufacturing. I like what the Japanese did back in the 1970s. Bring on the future I say.

Thanks! Yeah I’m sure I’ll be fine longer distance, pack light, frequent breaks and find a good osteopath 😂
@@granblogismo Hmmm packing light and frequent breaks ??? I call that Touring. Zapping across Germany on autobahns I call high speed commuting !
Classic style, just like the GT! Congratulations
Thanks! Yes very pleased with my choice, ‘fits in’ nicely with the other vehicles 😎
Gotta love a Triumph !! Great choice Mark.
Thanks! 🙏
Yes
Good choice! 👍
Thanks! 🙌
Looks good, I too like the Paris-Dakar look but also the retro side of things. That's probably the better choice for predominantly road riding.
Thanks I think so too and who knows, an enduro/adventure bike could be along later 😂
Perfect! I love it…then of course I would, since I love your BGT! Good choice.
Ha thanks! Yes has that classic vibe about it 👍
Very cool, probably my no.1 dream bike.. when I eventually get into bikes.. nice one!
Haha thanks 🙌
Wow, quite a beast and yes deffo the right choice, enjoy😊👍
Thanks Andrew! 🙏

Thanks! Yes I keep popping out to the garage to stare at it 😂😂 hopefully lots more to come next year when the weather improves 🙏

Nice! Yes love the look of those, bet that’s lovely to cruise around on!
Now THAT is a bike!
The only problem with it, is that it doesn't need anything doing to it 😉
Thanks! Yeah I love it, it’s not perfect though so might do some minor bits but overall very pleased 👍

Thanks Wolf! Yes I’m very happy with it but still researching other bikes I like 😂😂
You wouldn't get that mojo from any other brand.
