Since I had to learn chinese when growing up(not fluent), I fully understood the difference in 猫 and 描. I also fully understood the pain because while I whipped out my chinese keyboard to type those two characters, I only knew the first one, and had to look up what the second one was since I'd never heard of it before. Your TL notes are really high quality, good shit
