how do you expose your clog3? i heard that some people tend to underexpose slightly in clog, while sony's slog is overexposed by about 1 stop. personally I expose my clog on my r6 at the limit of the gray area on the histogram is it correct?
I expose my Clog3 one stop over exposed, to retain detail and limit noise in the shadows, while still being able to recover highlight detail without destroying my image. ☺️

Hi Paul, i Just got R6. I Have one qustion about clog3. How is difference between shooting in clog3 at BT.709 and cinema gamut?
Hey Jay! Cinema gamut gives you a much wider colour and dynamic range gamut than 709 does in post.
Then when grading (in something like davinci resolve) you can set your color space transform to “canon cinema gamut” and it’ll allow you to take better advantage of the 10-bit color!
Great short film! Have you used a pro mist filter in the street / night scene?
In a way, yes. It’s a very DIY promist filter (UV filter + fine black spray paint) but it gets the job done!

The vast majority of this video was shot with an EF 50mm f/1.8. The rest was shot with a Tamron EF 24-70 f/2.8 G2. 😊
nice film！but how do u think about the noise of clog3? I am using R5, the noise in the darkness is so bad!
If you overexpose in dark, there is way less noise.

Yes, its better to overexpose with high ISO than underexpose low ISO.
