Going from Joe Staley to Trent Williams was awesome. I was pounding the table that the Niners would draft Triston Wirfs so I can't complain.

When they call him "the silverback," they aren't effing playing. That dude is freaking enormous, and he's legit possibly the quickest and most athletic guy on the team. With his size and strength, it's freaking insane. You saw with that Bosa clip, it literally gives our defense confidence, gives us energy cause we KNOW that the other team's tackles aren't better than the guy they practice against.

i remember when people were saying Tyron smith better than Trent Williams when he was playing Washington. i said Trent was way better, when we play Washington in 2016 wildcard he made clay matthews looks bad and have our DB looking scared🤣
Tyron is unbelievable he shoulda been top 100 even above Kratos (Zack Martin) this year but Trent is a different category of nasty. He truly makes life hell for defenders and plays past the edge in a way any old head would love.
If Tyron didn't develop a bad back I'd say they were 1a and 1b take your pick who's where. But Trents longevity gives him the clear lead.
At the time Tyron was the best tackle in the NFL but injuries derailed his career unfortunately and Trent continued to get better. Now it isn't even close, Trent Williams is the best OT in the league
Watching him go in motion is like waiting in line for a roller coaster, you're nervous the entire time but after it's over you wanna do it all over again

All-Pro best LT Trent Williams is the reason why that we win games easily, but without him since we lost 3-straight games in 2023 is healed and more difficult during the running game. But still support Trent of all things he does.🙌🏻💯❤️💛🏈
