Its crazy to me how many changes Darkhawk has gone through while still showing up consistently towards the top of tier lists. And yet its also never really felt oppressive to play against
There were times Darkhawk was oppressive, but he hasn't been in a long time. Back when Zabu released, it used to be a 3/2 that gave -2 cost to all of your 4 costs, and was what I would argue to be the single most dominant card in post-global release Marvel Snap history. Incidentally, Darkhawk used to be a 4/1, and Rock Slide used to be a 4/6 at the time, so... yeah, they were a pretty oppressive package back in Jan 2023. A LOT has changed since then, though, and Darkhawk has been balanced for a while now imo.
Thank you for the video! I do have a question about the first two decks under "Top Performing", though: what is the advantage Proxima Midnight has over Swarm as a discard target for Moon Knight? Swarm seems to give up 1 power in exchange for being divisible in 2 lanes (you get 2 cards with 3 power instead of 1 card with 7) and you have more control over where it goes, so I was wondering why Proxima seems to be run over Swarm. I'm pretty uninformed on this, as I don't own Proxima Midnight, so I was wondering what makes Proxima Midnight stand out over Swarm so that I can know if I should try to potentially buy Proxima to play those decks.
Proxima can sneak into unplayable locations (like death’s domain) and also can be discarded on turn 6 while still entering play. Swarm probably works in a pinch though.

Happy there’s a reason to use blink. It felt like it disappeared quicker than I’d have hoped for. Also, two of the most popular decks seem to be specifically about getting alliance bounties, (destroy/patriot+ultron) which is kind of a fun angle
I'm convinced there's a reasonable Blink-Galactus deck, but every cook I do is off. The problem is really when you draw galactus which this legion deck doesn't have
Love that Viper Ramp list! Super interesting rework on clog. Quick small note - it looks like the Sentry image you have downloaded is old though, as he still displays as a 4/10 in the big images in the bottom right. Not a biggie but if he’s coming back in a big way (fingers crossed) it might be important. Thanks as always for the sweet lists!
While I made a decision, as small spender, to use my dollars, gold and tokens mainly on cosmetics (I'm a weird F2P enjoyer), I think Kate might be a good target with tokens post her season for me. Thank you for all the deck archetypes that are so far from "is it just zoo?" mindset of general community :)

Wonder if we're going to see the Pixie Marvel Boy deck we had on stream...Friday in the video next week. It's such a fun deck and deals with so many of the boogeymen of Snap that are popular right now.
@@impkiller5932Any reason Swarm wouldn't work? They're both even-costed Discard targets with similar amounts of power (2x3 vs 7) that become free cards when discarded. Also, you get free reign over where you play the Swarms. Is the issue the fear of Sandman? Genuine question, because I wanted to know what the downside of Swarm was vs Proxima to know whether Proxima was needed to play the deck so I know whether she's worth buying.
@@michaelbesser5348 she is better in many ways like she is instant, have more power, can get to closed locations or locations that usually kill cards, have +1 more power, don't afraid of sandman, and he is very popular now. Like you can play swarm but Proxima is just better.
This might be my favourite meta marvel snap has ever had, redesigning all the toxic cards has made it so the sandcastle stomping feels like the lowest its ever been. It feels like almost any brew has the potential to be viable. Its just sandman thats ruining things a little but compared to dock ock, leech, prof x and alioth, he's not too hard to beat or play around.
I'm playing a lot more destroy & move decks than before due to alliance missions. I can imagine that's part of the reason those decks have a high sample size on trackers.

It was a lil nutty in peak Zabu-Shang, but otherwise, I agree

That Lockout boy deck is pure evil
ikr im kinda tempted on throwing some key to see if i can get Marvel Boy but im not too sure yet
Your Black Swan Bounce deck has been my favorite deck for a while now!
"Most diverse it's ever been"
Meanwhile I'm literally only playing against Sandman Ultron 😂
Hit infinite already with the Odd Stature/Hawk list, very very solid list.
Really solid, really fun and more consistent than the previous Miles/Stature Hawk Deck
I've been enjoying this deck too. Mostly ran it to counter Arishem, but it works pretty well against the meta too.
Any suggestions for a Spider Ham alternative?
@@kazinafiulhaquemohit9258 - I ran Nebula for the extra stats.

I can def tell that Patriot Sandman and Destroy are two of the most popular. Feels like that's all i've come up against since the Leech/DocOc nerf.
I can't wait to go home and play ladder, and only see lockout decks for the next two days lol...
I always appreciate the insights and opinions on the meta. Very well-reasoned and interesting, and nuanced in a way that many others aren't.

I spent four keys to get Marvel Boy. Now to save up for the move cards next month!
Was it worth it in your opinion. I just have 4 and am really hesitant
@@ferhatdogan4336 I sort of regret it, but I think it'll be okay in the long run.
Omg the Legion deck is infuriating to play against ... thanks for that lol .

For those decks with proxima midnight, what do we do if we don’t have her?
It's pretty simple. Don't play it.

I rode your Odd Moonhawk deck to infinite this weekend... Tons of fun to play!

Great video once again i was really looking for some decks to use kate in thanks a bunch jeff
No need to apologise for the lock out deck, I tried it, and ran into constant killmonger 🤣
.
I hit infinite with record time (for me) playing namora & apoc discard
Climbed the 90s in just a few hours with Swan Bounce. But boy did I start getting tired of opponent playing Antman on 1.
It'll fade after the weekend missions I wager. Decks performance is only OK and the play patterns aren't very novel.
For the Odd Stature deck would Iceman or Nico be good to replace Spider-ham (I don't have him)?
This would be decent subs for Spiderpig.
