What I do for the alternating DB press is the same exact thing, except I do it Larsen. It really emphasizes that trunk control to another level. Y’all should def try it

If you were prioritizing stability or core strength that would be one thing, but a 1-arm press is ALWAYS going to produce less hypertrophy than doing both at the same time. while lengthened partials are overall more effective, it's no longer a lengthened partial but instead just an isometric when you hold the bottom position with one arm.
