Hazara Motorway or M-15 Motorway is a 180 kilometer controlled-access motorway linking the Burhan Interchange near Hasan Abdal in Punjab province with Haripur, Havelian, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Shinkiari, Battagram, and Thakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The project is divided into 7 packages; the first four (from Burhan to Mansehra) are already completed and were inaugurated on 27 December 2017 & 18 November 2019.

The moterway starts from Havelian,,passes though abbottabad, mansehra and shinkiari....😊😊..and ends at thakot...this moterway has five tunnels,,two each at abbottabad,,and other are ,,battal,,karmong,,and mansehra...😊😊..

It’s basically a northern area of Pakistan, so yes it is carved out on the high and low lands of mountains. It is newly built and really lush green and beautiful.

Pakistan motorway system actually consists of total 15 motorways connecting almost all the big cities of Pakistan, all are atleast 6 lane high speed controlled access highways.
As of 2020 total of 1973 Km of motorways are operational, while an additional 1763 Km are under construction or planned.
The portion of motorway that you have witnessed in the footage is 4 lanes other than that all other motorways are having 6 or more lanes. Even in Hazara motorway from the start till Abbottabad interchange it is 6 laned, and then from abbottabad interchange to mansehra it has 4 lanes.

Since March 2019, only heavy bikes (over 500cc) are allowed to enter Motorway as far as they have BC (Biker's Card) issued by NHMP. Protective gear must be worn on the motorbike to enter Motorways.
I just return frrom mansehra yesterday from this motorway mashallah its so beautiful

I just visited hazara motorway recently. The road is to smooth.I never seen like that road before in Pakistan one of the best road in Pakistan🇵🇰🇵🇰
For safety they have made ramps for vehicle to use when descending and get their breaks failed. They can use these ramps to stop the vehicle without beaks.

three days back I traveled this road till Thahkot a small village which is on the banks of mighty Indus river and first time in my life I saw Indus river passing through mountains and it was stunning view it was really mesmerizing view watching might of Indus river when you have just read about it in books, seeing is believing, although my home town is Abbottabad but I almost lived all of my life there but never got a chance to travel further north but now first ever time I traveled this far in north of Pakistan. everyone must travel on this road its really a 8th wonder of world.

First it tooks 10 hours to travel from swat to mansehra but now it takes just 2 and half hour of time.
