I am 45 Years Old and my older brother introduced me to this band. They are my medicine and i absolutely adore Ivan Doroschuck ❤️ he is so hot.
This was my dad's band, he's the guy holding the triangle at the beginning of the video!

Absolutely superb track from MWH when they were at the peak of their game. Sad so many folks say "oh these were the guys who did Safety Dance" and are oblivious to how exceptionally brilliant Ivan and his band were back in the 80's.
I always say: well they were famous for safety dance, but the other songs are absolutely amazing. Safety dance was my favorite growing Up but after listening to All the other songs it's very hard to chose which one is the best.

kinda symbolic that this track takes you way back and in the same time this video was uploaded when the iPhone was just introduced. makes you think how time passes so quickly and news turns into history.

It's amazing, the ways that this music video paints a far different picture of Men Without Hats than both the video for The Safety Dance and all of Live Hats.
I always liked this song more than "Safety Dance" and remember hearing it in 1981

i've been a fan of men w/o hats since i was in second grade but i had never heard this song until just the other day. i'm glad there are geeks out there like me who hang on to shit like this and then put it out so the rest of us can enjoy. i love you gys. ^_^
Word. This song might not be very complex by its structure, but has a super hypnotic feel. It was always much more than a b-side for me.
Speaking of being geeky: When it came out I recorded an entire C60 tape with that song in order to able to listen to it on loop. Something that does not require more than a click today. :)
And as this great tune always felt a bit too short to my taste, I later used the arrival of the digital age to mix my private 12'' version of it.
Listening to a lot of contempary music today, but from time to time it's still a great pleasure to listen to this stuff.

Folk of the 80's (Part I) was never re-released on CD but Freeways was which included everything on FOT80's plus another track called Freeways though it's still very hard to find.

This was the B side to the 7 inch Safety Dance single. I actually preferred the B side :D
