Hi Wanida. Yes, I agree--the size is just right. I'm happy with it as well despite the issues with the glazing. I just hope the fashion house will continue to improve it (as they did before) since it's such a beautiful bag. ❤
Hi Therese, had I seen the scarlet first before the black, I would have gone for the scarlet! 😄 It's just the perfect shade of red that I prefer and it is so gorgeous!
Fantastic, detailed review. Thank you! I just got the dove grey one and really like it but do find that I wish the flazing was more seamless. I can feel a slight jagged edge on one side of the top handle as of the glazing doesn’t fully cover the leather if that makes sense. Wondering if I should take it to LV to see if they can do something about to, it is pretty minor, however I just got this bag so I feel it should be perfect as it’s so new.
Hi Loretta, yes I still have it in my collection although I haven't been using it as much lately as I feel that it's quite heavy. I still love it though. Nothing has really changed after filming this video; it's still pretty much in the same state as far as I can tell. Hope this helps ❤
Hi Cathy! Glad it was helpful 🙂 As for the color transfer, I think there may be possibilities especially if you wear a lot of denim or darker colors so you may have to be careful in using it. Others treat their bags but I'm not sure if that would void your warranty in case you'll find issues with the bag along the way.
I like mine but it does dig in, my shoulder hurts. But then i also feel pain with prada nylon bags. 😂 / i had no problem with hardware. And i always keep it something inside fully to keep the shape , what i do realize is that it doesnt fit as much as i thought.
Yes, it does dig in to your shoulders if it's full. I can't bear the weight which is why I always try to keep it light--if at all possible. I used to carry huge bags before that would fit the kitchen sink 😅 but considering it's not really doing my shoulders any good plus the fact that I don't use 80% of the contents of my then huge bags (most of them were "what ifs"), I decided to downsize and I am much happier since. 😊
Haha my cassie full leather, still look like brand new after 4 years of use, to work and travel. Not a scratch, under the ocean sun and wet day in Paris. I don't have to baby it either needed a plastic cover bag. Bought brand new at Coach on sale for 150 bucks. Why spend over 2k for this drama? They both the same, except the coach cassie is more classy without a Logo and never been a problem. You pay the logo, not quality.
I have a Coach 19 as well as the Pochette Métis and I do agree that the Coach seems like it would hold out better in the long run! Currently the glazing of my Coach is perfect, but my LV’s is sort of more uneven/jagged and I just got the LV and have had the Coach for 2 years. So it goes…
I have and love Coach, too, and yes, mine also still looks perfectly fine compared to my Pochette Metis. It's unfortunate that while prices have sky rocketed, the quality seems to be going downhill.
Hello, AuBoo. No, I think this time I won't. Way back even before the pandemic, I sent my Cluny BB for repair within the warranty period. It took around 3 months as they had to send the bag back to France and when I got it back, the bag was ruined completely...the stitching was terribly done and it had a cut on the canvas... what a shame! With the current situation, I don't know when they will be able to get it done so I think it's better to steer clear from the possible headaches and regrets 😅 I think I'll just have it fixed once it's all completely worn out which I don't think will happen in a few years 🙂

Hi Jv MS, oh my! I am so sorry I missed your comment! To answer your question, I had a problem with the top handle--specifically the sections of the vachetta that wraps around the rings on both sides. The vachetta has torn off on the curved edges that touch the rings (probably because it kept rubbing off the hardware). I don't use the top handle when carrying the bag except when picking it up to then wear the longer strap on my shoulder. So I wanted to have those sections fixed and in order for them to do that, they had to replace the entire handle and I agreed but then it turned out to be a disaster.
This is a thorough and excellent review. I wish more were like this on YT. I am amazed there was no damage to the bag with the rain. Well done!

I have this bag in Marine rouge and I have a scarf around the flap of the bag to put a soft barrier between the straps and the flap glazing.

Will They repair the glassing problem as a defect or they will say it’s normal wear tear?
Based on my experience with the local LV boutique where I live, they will have it repaired for free if it's still within the warranty period.
Mine will definitely say “normal” wear and charge me for the repair. 😂

That's unfortunately true. I hope LV will continue to improve it further since it's a much sought after bag despite the issues.
