I love Ken and I don't like Robert Garcia but tbh Robert is so much better than Ken,if I had to choose between the two for a challenge..I would definitely choose Robert..because he has..like 15 more moves than Ken
Because Robert Garcia is no freaking joke. There's no shame in losing to someone on his level. Chances are they probably went yachting somewhere after this fight or whatever it is that rich people do...
MrDraquo Robert isn't on Ken's level no matter what you say. Ken is so competitive and driven that even when Gouken initially refused to take him as a pupil Ken's natural ability as a fighter compelled him to change his mind. Although flamboyant and flashy Ken has a fierce offense that not many can withstand. And I honesty think that Ken trains harder than Robert imo.

Ken's determination did indeed win Gouken over, but Robert's will to suceed both got Takuma's undivided attention and is threefold: 1.) He chose the Ryuugeki path within the Kyokugen-ryu discipline with its focus on kick-based attacks as it is the natural opposite of Ryo's choice of the punch focused Kouoh path. They are rivals and friends and each wants to see how far they can go on their chosen paths. 2.) He's in love with Yuri. This drives him to prove his worth to her not just with his $, but as a warrior, protector, and husband. Not to mention... 3.) She is his best friend's sister and his Sensei's daughter. How hard would YOU train to win their approval, not to mention overcome boss characters from a universe that quite LITERALLY has a Boss Syndrome as an actual definition (Google "SNK Boss Syndrome" for more information). These men are more alike than they are different, and they are *certainly* peers in the H2H combat department.They probably even have the same stock portfolio come to think of it...
MrDraquo All I'm going to say is that if Ken ever chose to take the path of the Satsui No Hado it'd be scary. Also Ken has a student (Sean) eager to follow in his footsteps. I'm not knocking Robert and I even dig his style but Ken is definitely a potential monster when he gets motivated to win or if he has something to prove. I don't know who's the more richer of the two though...
