Yes we did a lot of research before! We knew we wanted to tell the story of Satonda including both the geology and folklore so we tried to compile it all for you guys and include it as part of the vlog 👌🏼

You guys seems really love beaches... You really should come to Sumatera and visit Bangka Belitung Province.. So far for me Belitung island has the most beautiful beaches in Indonesia.. They're very clean, quite, pretty with crystal clear water, many huge granites rocks, warm people, and has so many small islands too.. You can do one day trip hoping the islands.. Cause they are really close to the main island.. I visit Belitung island 4 times, and never stop dreaming to come again.. But, Satonda island is incredibly beautiful too.. Thanks for the video..

Tambora along with Toba ancient supervolcano eruption in around 75000 years ago and Krakatoa in 1883 are among the deadliest volcano eruption ever known. Yes Indonesia indeed very beautiful but also very deadly for located along the ring of fire

Perhaps you can also explore the Sangihe islands (north of Sulawesi ,heading to the Philippines).......there you can find under water volcano (1 of 2 only in the world ).......the sea water is warm and sometimes hot.....you can also dive ,and may meet new species of fish (for it is a spot where 'northern' fishes meet the 'southerns') ....... If Satonda is an aftermath of an eruption ,then Sangihe is the pre-math ,maybe it will erupt in the next thousand years (ask experts for this)......

The biggest volcanic eruption in the world is not the eruption of Mount Tambora but Mount Toba (ancient times) which is now Lake Toba in North Sumatra. Then following the second largest is Mount Krakatoa in 1883. 🙏
I don’t think that’s actually correct Sir! We’ve seen multiple sources that say Tambora is the largest recorded eruption in human history. The measurement they use is the VEI or Volcanic Explosivity Index. Tambora is listed as a 7 by multiple sources. The ones you’ve mentioned are listed as a 6. Now there are other volcanos listed with higher VEIs but these were before humans were around, which is why we said human history.
