OK, to answer a couple of questions.
This happened in Boukenger vs Super Sentai. Boukenger is the series that Operation Overdrive is based on. Aka Red did not appear in any US adaptations.
Yes there is a theory that there are others out there like Aka Red for each color (ex. Ao Blue, Mido Green, etc...). While that is a reasonable assumption, the fact remains that there is no evidence of that in any of the Sentai Series. The only team he was a part of was the Red Pirates with Marvelous and Basco.

No, the show was called "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger," Shinkenger is a portmanteau of Shinken (true sword) and Ranger.
I don't really even like Power Rangers but what a cool idea for a character in a long-running franchise.

Sentai means "squadron" or "task force," so a super sentai is a squad of super heroes.
Well Super Sentai came first. Saban called in Power Rangers cuz a lot of sentai have "ranger" in their title, and Saban likes to add "power" to everything.

what I meant was it would be silly if Shinkenger meant Samurai since Samurai is already in the title.
Akared likely created the Gokaiger powers based on his own, he was after all the man who recruited marvelous

during the gosaiger/gokaiger movie, its show that the past 34 sentai sacrifced they're powers to destroy the 1st zangyak fleet, and their powers were ejected into space. Akared went after the powers to retrieve them and return them to their owners. As to who made the Mobirates(their morphers), thats unknown. But Gokaiger isn't a rip off, toei wanted to go big for the 35th anniversary, which they did.
No it's not!! Saban Brands confirmed that they'll use the Dairanger suits in Super Megaforce, but no word about Aka Red. So, no offense, but if I were you, I'd better get my sources checked out.

This battle make me wish that this was in the 'Once A Ranger' episode.
Akaranger was the leader of Goranger, the very first Super Sentai. Aka Red is an anniversary character that only appeared in Boukenger vs Super Sentai and a few eps of Gokaiger.
The XXX is the Roman numeral for 30, since this was the 30th anniversary special. When Gokaiger came out for the 35th anniversary, he had XXXV.
If they use AkaRed for next season U.S. my vote, Jason David Frank needs to make a serious come back, the only person epic enough to pull this ranger off. I just want to see him as a ranger again.. regardless of the finale for Super Mega Force, I want more then a cameo..

i love how wen the rangers get new weapons or powers during a battle nothing touches while they are running towards the enemie when they same weapon that was hitting them before is no longer effective lol

He's only appeared in Boukenger vs Super Sentai, and in Gokaiger. In Boukenger he had number 30, in Gokaiger he had number 35. If he ever appears again, I'm sure his number will reflect that anniversary. It'd be kinda hard though since he's dead, but resurrections are common in Super Sentai.

I seen the movie where all 35 Teams take on an enemy fleet. Yeah I saw the pirate rangers and how they can transform like AkaRed, but only use keys. It's pretty damn cool! If the US is gonna do something like that, I hope they bring the mighty morphin or known as zyurangers.
Do your research, Super Sentais debuted in 1975. 4 years after Kamen Riders. Then around the 80s to early 90s Saban adapted Zyurangers to make MMPR.

When he appeared in Boukenger he had 30, in Gokaiger he had 35.
There are some American made fight scenes. Especially when the plot deviates from the Japanese source material. And especially when Mighty Morphin was based on Zyuranger, and decided to keep those costumes for seasons 2 and 3 (when Japan had different costumes for their Sentai counterpart).
One thing you gotta give to Power Rangers, it had some awesome music.
Many vehicles after Power Rangers in Space were made specifically for Power Rangers. Meaning they were never in Super Sentai, but Power Rangers. Like the Jet Jammers, the Lightspeed cycles that isn't Carters.

I don't think it's so much about the budget, but that this is the "original" version of Power Rangers. When they make Power Rangers, they use as much Sentai footage as possible. But in Japan, they're making their own scenes: they take the time to do the giant monster battles, the special effects, the costumes, movies, team-ups, etc... They put their heart and soul into it.
I'd like to see him as the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger or Zeo.

After seeing this video, I wish there was a way to get AkaRed to come to America as a Power Ranger.
Super Sentai came first, Power Rangers is a US adaptation of Super Sentai. What they mostly do for Power Rangers is use the Japanese Sentai footage for any Ranger/Monster/Zord fight scenes, then use their own US actors for whatever scenes have the characters out of Ranger uniform. As for UK crossovers, you most likely get the same episodes we do in the US. Only Japan gets the good crossovers, since they're the ones that made them in the first place.
well if the toy exists then they may be having the guy behind the mask transforming into him for one last time or something like that i dunno hope they do bring him. lkooking forward to the OOO combos gokai change

Wolf Shinobi AkaRed himself confirmed that there is no AoBlue, but AkaBlue instead, in Super Animal War. This implies that "Aka" may possibly be the prefix of the name of the team AkaRed presumably belongs to.

Wolf Shinobi yes, cuz "Aka" refers to their team name, not colors. Just like there's GokaiRed and GokaiBlue, there's AkaRed and AkaBlue. The team is probably called AkaRanger as a nod to GoRanger, the first Super Sentai.

ok so in relation to the more popular Mighty Morphin Rangers, how did they do that one? there were multiple scenes that i remember with many of the actors in the suits and doing their own stunts...same with a few of the other ''Power Ranger'' series after Mighty Morphin
haven't heard that rumor, and it prolly is just a rumor due to there being an Aka Red Ranger Key with the new Legend Mobirates toy.

No, Aka Red is not from GoRanger. You are thinking of AkaRanger. Aka Red is the spirit of all Red Rangers (including AkaRanger). Aka Red was also shown at the end of the Legend War, which AkaRanger participated in.

if i'm not mistaken, aka( which probably shortened from the japanese word akai) means red. So, Akared would translate to Redred.

Is that supposed to say Gurly? Because if so, it is because his suit is an homage to Akarenger the very first Sentai Ranger, having a collar instead of a cape, and his suit being quite plain. And his motions he does while transformed are just the henshin motions of other rangers.
