While some of Xianwu's "accidents'" with touching other women might be unintentional, most aren't. He has crossed too many boundaries with all these women. Never once has he sincerely apologized for his behavior or felt remorse. He's never really defended his relationship with his shifu or taken care of her honor. It's neither funny nor entertaining to watch his antics involving women. I would've cut him some slack if he had remained single throughout the series cause at least there would have been no commitment to anyone. But the writer seems to have taken some perverse delight in making him a scumbag. He used to be enjoyable to watch because of his innocence and naivete. He's so flippant now. It's painful to see the main character descend into immorality. The writer should stop using these type of ploys to supposedly liven up the storyline. It's lazy and redundant.
You're right! The story is getting less interesting. The would be no full commitment to his master again. He's busy having affair while his master is in search of him from other sides of the earth.
