Having a dram outdoors with good friends and spectacular scenery doesn't get much better. Thanks for bringing us along. Your instagrams have been fun as well. Enjoy the moments. Slainte!
ahhh i drove past that hotel a few times between distilleries a couple of weeks ago. really nice video to watch (but painful) its like the quote on roys islay video "visiting islay is dangerous. it creates a hole in your soul that can never mend, and can only be temporarily soothed by returning". great to see you all having a blast.
We ate there the Sunday prior and got the lamb roast. Cracking stuff! The sticky toffee pudding was also on point. Was a pleasure and quite the surprise bumping into you guys at Ardbeg. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip. We certainly did!
Me and a friend went to Scotland in March. Islay, Inverness, Edinburgh. We came back with 18 bottles between us lol. We needed a new luggage on the return trip.
So glad you guys are having a great time on Islay and the weather is good. In contrast it is still snowing in the mountains of northern California near lake Tahoe. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Cheers
I asked a local about snow here. They said maybe a good snow happens once every five years and the kids get real excited. I was surprised. Lots of rain however.
I’m heading to Scotland in a couple of months and I would love to bring some bottles back. I’m sure you guys will bring some bottles back as well, so please do a video on how many bottles you can bring back, show how you pack them, and then once you’re back in the states do an analysis about how easy or hard it was for you to bring them back. It would be an invaluable video for international travelers.
So sorry couldn’t have been available for the live!! Hope you get right in with Mr Iain McArthur at the Lagavulin tour in the am, he is a gem of whisky modern folklore!!! Happy happy travels!!!
STDs: You're not FOOLING anyone... that's obviously a green screen behind you :) You guys REALLY got lucky with the weather. I can only remember a weeks worth of sunny days the two years I was assigned to Upper Heyford UK
Love the Dummies..hate that the loudmouth guy is wearing a cowboy hat in Scotland. Feeding into the stereotype Europeans have about Americans, but entertaining nonetheless. Hope you guys have a great time

Alan, the hat has been loved almost every where we have been. Now I can’t say the same for the manga shirts but I haven’t worn them as often.
