“Ichigi Cotton Textiles” is a speciality of Mihama Town.
It has started over 100 years ago in Ichigi district, Mihama Town.
However, the textiles has been at risk to disapper.
There were over 40 factories in the area, but now only one factory is left.
We launch a cloud funding project for “Ichigi Cotton Textiles” to pass the baton over next generations.
It is not only about a product of the textiles, but also history and culture of the town, which should have been passed over children of the town.

昔は市木木綿を使って、浴衣や洋服などを作っていたようですが、現在は、洋服などを作れる方がおらず、座布団やその他の小物類だけしか作られていないので、もし、洋服などを作る技術をお持ちのようであれば、市木木綿で様々なものを作って頂けると嬉しく思います。一度、向井布団店さんを訪問して頂き、お話して頂けると幸いです。その際はTH-camの動画を見ましたと一声お掛け頂けるとスムーズかもしれません。どうぞ宜しくお願い致します🙏
