Long live Grand Club of Assolna. May it continue to live the dream of two of our first founder members namely late Saude Souza from Banda and late Santan from Premier Vaddo. As a rich tribute to both our founder members, the newly constructed family room opposite the Banda room is named after them as SAU-SAN. Mr Jiput Ferreira had painstakingly constructed the family room without using any professional tools which currently generates us additional revenue. Restoration and painting of all the Images and statues in the altar was whole heartedly done by Miss Darlene Almeida daughter of late Zito Almeida. All the members who lived here have beautiful unforgetable memories. It was truly a home. Mr Pinith Noronha was the heart and soul of our club. Now the pulse of Grand Club of Assolna continues through Mr Peter Furtado who does a wonderful job to keep it going for the priveleged sons of Premier Vaddo, Bainfoll and Banda..
Thanks Issac..brought back good old memories of the club life..great personalities of Assolna club Neri, Pinith, Selvin, Moses, Pitu, bank manager(cant recollect his name) and of course yourself..
This is Bennet Paes. The club is located at Dr Viegas Street where my grand father put up while transiting from ship to home in Bainfol, Assolna. I also took time off my college days at Xavier's to play a game of cards there while enjoying sips of 'aunty's hooch' with friends residing there. Beautiful memories!

May I know which part of Mumbai is this Club housed?
Is it in Jer Mahal or Chira Bazar?
