Wow! Pete Hernandez Sr., Pete Hernandez Jr. and older brother Eric Hernandez. What a show of family unity and love. A proud father performing with his two famous and talented sons in Puerto Rico...their heritage. What a beautiful family. It's rather unfortunate that the camera person failed to fully capture Eric's solo drumming. Eric (E-Panda) has been playing drums since age four and playing professionally by age ten. Like his brother, Eric is a dope drummer who has graced many drumming magazines worldwide. I am so proud of them both. Thank you mama and papa Hernandez for raising such productive men. 💕

It's both ways Pinoys and Puerto Rican has black blood. He's size looks like the genes from Pinoy side. He's mom looks like on the Hispanic side, his grandma looks Chinese somewhere along the line he carry that native genes on both sides. No matter what his genes is he's a great Musician.

For us it doesn't matter where in the world we are born. If there's a link to our island Puerto Rico, which its real name is Boriquen, we are Boricuas. There's an expression that we have throughout the world it's, "yo sería Borincano (Boricua) aunque naciera en la luna" which means, "I would be Borincano even if I were born on the moon", and with that expression there's a photo of an astronaut standing on the moon raising a Puertorican flag.
True, but however, the majority of us that are born outside the island considers our selves Puerto Rican como lo canta Roy Brown, " Yo ser'ia Boricua aunque naciera en la luna." And true as you express there is a lack of courtesy but not everyone is like that. No se puede generalizar especial contra nuestra gente, nuestros padres y abuelitos son de Puerto Rico. And true many islanders hate Newyoricans and consider us Gringos we Love our flag and our island Boriquen. It's good to know how you feel because that is the way we all are, like a family we either agree or disagree.

Yes, his Filipino Mom sang but its all his Dad in this video at 52:00 he even says he would like to thank the man who taught him everything he knows his DAD who was very heavily involved in salsa music back in the day. This performance was a very special performance for his Dad to take Bruno back to his musical roots which Puerto Ricans/Africans are known for. It is what it is Be happy we all can enjoy his talent regardless of race.

Who cares, there is nothing European about him, no one would ever think Bruno Mars is white or European, and it is quite clear there is afro in his DNA, of all the kids in that family, his father had children with other women, Eric is his half brother, so it is possible Bruno's mother or father had him with another woman or man, he is the best looking one in the family, Jamie the beautiful oldest lyla is not his sister she is his cousin, she came to live with them as a child because her family could not care for her, there are many secrets in this family, also Bruno's parents divorced and her last name was not Hernandez when she died, i think the father and mother were not on speaking terms, a lot of secrets, having said that, I think his father is just plain old Puerto Rican and the mother is philippino, Bruno looking like he does could be his father (like with Eric) had an affair with another woman or his mother with another man, so many secrets. Remember children are innocent, they have no say who their parents are.
