The "destroy all ____ troops" win metric seems wrong. Why should purple win if blue knocks out yellow? Wouldn't it make more sense if instead purple was just unable to win via secret mission and the game continued?
Yea, SMG has it wrong. Purple doesn’t auto-win because his mission can’t be accomplished. They have to world dom or be given another mission (how we played on table)
I believe the board version says you then have to conquer 21 territories. This would be so much better. All purple had to do was feed yellow and let others do the rest this is such a glaring hole in the game. I'm surprised they just designed it this way without thinking about that.
Secret missions are from the original board game. But there if your mission is to kill the player with the certain color and if someone else kills that player then your mission becomes to occupy certain number of territories, like 2/3 of the map. So nobody can kill someone and win for someone else nor the dead players can win. They should have make it the same in the online version as well imho.

Anything that allows you to win while being dead is definitely overpowered. Plus the "kill someone" mission is probably the only mission that allows for 2 players' missions to be completed simultaneously.
The strategy varies greatly with the objective. It's crucial to look at the missions of a game to prevent some else to win. It's changing the game a lot and the changing objectives makes every game kind of unique. Fascinating new game mode.
Completely off topic but I’m hating capitals right now. The last two days I’ve lost so many games by losing 80 plus percent dice rolls and my opponents are hitting me and winning 30 percent dice rolls. Extremely frustrating
I think they should adjust the missions to be different for different numbers of players, like, if there are six players then the kill player missions should require two kills, or if there aren’t many players then the territory and continent missions should require more since there’s less competition

In the first game. I suspect white and purple where cheating. Possibly one player on two accounts. First turn white had plenty of other targets but for some reason chose to hit yellows 5 stack which just so happened to be the one stack purple was not able to reach then botted fairly quickly after that. This basically gave purple the guaranteed elimination on yellow. I don't know. Weird plays like that make me suspicious.
I haven't made it all the way through the video yet but incase you haven't seen, you can click the button top right when looking at your secret mission and see what all the missions are.
Bad implementation if a dead player can win from the grave. Also, red killed blue (black was still alive as there was black territory left alone as he killed VC's blue) and the message at the end was wrong. Red's mission was clearly to kill blue.
Hey VC - I know you enjoyed the secret missions but personally I found the genre a little too random. Agree it would be good to see the other players missions. I do see, to be in a minority reading the comments
I think the All Mission tab should tell you the missions that are currently active in this game, not just all the missions that could exist on the map. This way you could actually protect the player that is supposed to be eliminated in another players mission. That would be another way to balance out the assassin missions, because no one who pays attention will accidentally eliminate another players target.
You should also only be able to win on your own turn. If someone else gets your target eliminated you should either have to wait for your turn or loose the mission win condition completely or get an alternative mission.
Game 2 is kinda crazy. You can win your missions from beyond the grave?!?? But you already lost because you got killed?!! Edit : rn i genuinly believe that someone winning from the grave is a bug in the game and it'll be fixed soon. ( Cope )

I think the game didn't end. It just ended for blue because he was defeated. Similar to when you're defeated in fog. You can't see the game anymore.
