Sound of Walsall

"Sound of Walsall" is a celebration of sounds, oral history and rich experiences of living in local neighbourhoods of Walsall. The footage was created as a part of an interdisciplinary exhibition presenting diverse and co-creative artwork of Walsall's residents. The exhibition took place on May 27, 2023, at The New Art Gallery Walsall, and showcased some wonderful examples of local creativity. "Sound of Walsall" is a part of a larger community engagement/research project titled "Create Walsall", which is led by a team of researchers from the Institute for Community Research and Development (ICRD) at the University of Wolverhampton.

I had a great time helping out with this project, the conversations were authentic & heart felt.
Even had one of my sculptures in the Walsall New Art gallery for the 6 hour duration of the exhibition.
Brilliant to have been a part of the team.
