I honestly find this relationship to be weird. They just didn't seem to be compatible with each other. He was probably more into her sexually than she was into him. BIG was under Diddy's Bad Boy record label. After his death, Diddy signed Shyne expecting him to be the next star. Shyne is from same area of NY and has a similar voice/tone to Biggie. Different and uniquely talented, a great rapper in his own right, but the way most people see it is Diddy essentially only signed him to fill BIG's shoes, he thought he'd have the same mainstream appeal. Just as Shyne's career would've been about to take off, Diddy gets him into this drama at the club, then turned his back on him and let him take the fall.

He is, or was, a rapper. He's the person convicted of the nightclub shooting. So you may know of Notorious BIG / Biggie Smalls the rapper sadly murdered just as he was blowing up. BIG was under Diddy's Bad Boy record label. After his death, Diddy signed Shyne expecting him to be the next star. Shyne is from same area of NY and has a similar voice/tone to Biggie. Different and uniquely talented, a great rapper in his own right, but the way most people see it is Diddy essentially only signed him to fill BIG's shoes, he thought he'd have the same mainstream appeal. Just as Shyne's career would've been about to take off, Diddy gets him into this drama at the club, then turned his back on him and let him take the fall.
After Shyne's release a few years back, he went to Belize (I think was deported there) which is where his father originally comes from. Shyne got into politics. I believe his father was already a high-level politician. Anyway since release I'm pretty sure Shyne hasn't touched music again. But reportedly was doing a lot of positive things for Belize. Not checked in on the whole situation for some time....

Wild opinion but but I think Cassie is way prettier than J Lo. Also, I think he did things to J Lo too, but she left before it escalated. She had a career independent of him as well, unlike Cassie so that saved her. I also believe she is not forthcoming of being abused by a BM to keep her image and reputation intact. Even though times have advanced, there are still some people who don't believe in interracial relationships who would say she deserved what happened to and that she was damaged goods. It's messed up, but this is what we're currently dealing with. J Lo is insanely rich so she doesn't need any more from him to rebuild her with lost revenue like Cassie does. She's very brave for speaking her truth and making Puffy pay. She's a sweet soul and never gave me a mean girl vibe. I'm rooting for her with her new family too

i met diddy in 2014 & it was an awkward encounter. he had me dismissed from the studio @ big sean’s house upon his arrival because i did not stand at attention like the other yes-men (all men btw) when he entered the studio space. big sean was nervous..
diddy stood in front of me while inwas seated & proceeded to shake my hand, while I also had a vision of him making a phone call & saying “take him out” and there was an explosion in my vision…while i was sitting down & he was shaking my hand & he asked who i was - i provided my stage name & he told “ze” (big sean’s flunky) to escort me out of the space. (i told 88 keys - who was the person who invited me to sit in on big sean’s studio session & he told me he would not be able to invite me to any future session where running into diddy would happen again. i took it a bit personal but now see he was protecting me.)
i reached to get my purse & my oz of weed i brought to share w big sean & he told me to leave everything & o would get it back soon enough.
i made sure to grab my purse & they held my capsule of trees & i wasnt happy abt it…
i sat just outside the studio door & kept knocking every 15 mins for abt 3 hours asking if incould get my weed back, while the smoke could be seen coming from under the door…
by the time they gave me my capsule back.. there was a half of a gram of weed left inside - there was originally 28oz inside….
