I love that "Everything Everywhere all at Once" managed to revitalise both Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh's careers, and put them back in the spotlight. I wish that Stephanie Hsu had scooped up the Oscar for her brilliant performance. Jamie Lee Curtis was solid, but she didn't exactly do anything that you'd deem "Oscar Worthy."
Technically Michelle Yeoh never went anywhere she just rarely got the recognition she deserved. But yes 1000% on Ke Huy Quan- he deserves all the love and more for the movie. Rediscovering him was just a genuine joy. I still think Stephanie Hsu should have gotten the Oscar though. As much as I love Jaime Lee Curtis and think she gave a great performance I still think Hsu's performance was much better. It's the rare film where the cast all brought out the absolute best in each other

Upgrade definitely deserved to be higher. Very underrated movie. Leigh Whannell knocked it out of the park. The kitchen fight scene alone was worth the watch. Logan Marshall-Green is also an underrated actor imo.

Great list but weird ranking. I never thought of Eternal Sunshine as 'sci fi,' more like psychological romance-thriller. Nice to see smaller flicks like Primer and Coherence.
The visuals of "Poor Things" are on a whole other level. The best way I can describe the backdrops is you're seeing the world through the eyes of a infant. Godzilla - 0 is the best giant monster movie I've yet to see.
Despite me thinking it's hot garbage, it is in fact Sci fi. Sci fi is about scientific concepts and exploration of the unknown and pondering questions about such technology. Poor Things involves age progression porn where a child has non consensual sex with numerous men as a result of a man putting an unborn babies brain into a woman body of someone that killed themselves
In my opinion poor things deserves to be higher than looper at least. but it's ok i enjoyed the video, i should really add children of men i mah watchlist.

The Martian was not a failed colonization attempt. It was pure scientific research mission which had a definite end date, hence the lack of food and other survival issues. Talk about missing the boat on that one.
Bruh Star Wars is such a problematic franchise how did they put Force Awakens on this list but not Revenge of the Sith or Rogue One? Come on Mojo you might have to run this back because of that. . . . .

Interstellar needs to be way higher. And putting Inception higher than it is wild.
it is not at all wild, they neck and neck
Interstellar just has pretty visuals, storywise it is a mess. Inception however, is a masterpiece. Tney are not even close!

The Martian at #27!? That might be the best sci-fi movie I've ever seen and has no business being ranked behind some of these dreadful movies.

Some of my favorites

*Equilibrium (2002)*
*Babylon A.D. (2008)*
*TRON: Legacy (2010)*

Predestination (2014) is actually a top 5 Sci Fi movie of the 2010s
EQUILIBRIUM FTW!!!!!😎👍
Glad to see others loving Equilibrium. First movie that really got me thinking as a child. Still has some fun action scenes.
Rogue One is one of the greatest Star Wars films ever made. Hands down perfection 🤘🏼
More than that, what about the following:
I Robot,
Ready Player One,
Transformers,
Source Code,
Elysium,
Iron Man 3,
Guardian Of The Galaxy Vol 2,
Real Steel,
Pacific Rim,
Tron: Legacy,
Prey,

Upgrade definitely deserved to be higher. Very underrated movie. Leigh Whannell knocked it out of the park. The kitchen fight scene alone was worth the watch. Logan Marshall-Green is also an underrated actor imo.
Mad Max : Fury Road is a masterpiece of the gender adventure , action and Sci-Fi
honest question: what makes Mad Max sci-fi?

Glad to see Godzilla Minus One on here. Great movie! Wish I could recommend it to people or watch it again, but it’s not available in the U.S.
Seriously no Predestination? The best time travel movie ever? Fucking shameful.

Dark City needed to be added to this list, a much underrated yet brilliant film that deserves more mention.
Dark City is crazy underrated! However, I believe it came out in 1998. I'm guessing it wasn't even considered since it is pre-2000.
Predestination
Thanks for interesting and valuable video as always ❤❤❤
Idiocracy (2006) & Equilibrium (2002) Are good movies Might rewatch Them again
Idiocracy is a comedy.

Prometheus
Oblivion and elisium are really good
Worship Godzilla only
Edge of tomorrow landing at the bottom of the list is an atrocity
