What a trilogy. You kept the best for last too. These must be 3 of the most beautiful theme parks, each one was stunning. Every time you gave a "Weeeeeeeeee" I couldn't stop myself smiling and laughing 🤣 Fantastic job again showcasing the park and rides. You've really done an amazing job with all 3 Vlogs. I'm just gutted I wasn't there, it would have been such a blast. That woodie, Vodan, looks insane, it's so fast. I think it wants to be a steel coaster haha. I definitely need to sort out some trips across to visit some of these incredible parks and enjoy the rides soon. Voltron seems to have lived up to the hype, if a little rough. Such a brilliant build up to the launch. Love it. Bonus points for flaunting AT and Nemesis too 😍 Getting all the water rides back to back was probably a good idea 😋 At least the weather would dry you out quick after getting drenched haha. Strange that Voltron stopped on all the block sections for your 2nd ride. Guess it happens sometimes. Fun relaunches though, plus queue jumping 😂 What a fantastic Vlog. Thanks Corvus.
It’s here! Beautifull that you got all blocks, I got the on at the swinglaunch. When i was there only 1 train had a rattle and it wasn’t that bad but now it’s worse and there are 3. They really need to fix that. Glad that you got an extra ride!
How lucky can you get with one single ride 😂 But I am fed up with Voltron any ways, until they have fixed the rattling - and I am saying this after 20-30 rides.
The rattlyness is actually known and I hope they can address it. It is what holds back Voltron the most. And, when you got the left wing seat, I already said "oh no", because it's the worst seat in terms of rattlyness and there is one curve in there that's designed for the other seats, so in the left seat you get whipped around forcefully, while the right seats get a smooth floater airtime. The left-seat whip cannot be changed, but I hope they can make it smooth. Because I am so surprised how rattly Voltron is, it should not be. They have so many other coasters that are smooth, so I just don't understand why it is not with Voltron.
Yeah the left wing seat gives great forces, but I wouldn't want to ride it again in it's current state lol. If they fix the issues it would be a perfect ride :)
@@CorvusCoasters May I ask, when you went to EP? I just read a couple of comments under another video, that Mack is currently cycling out one train after another to transport them to the factory and fit stabilizers. One comment there said, all trains except one seem fine. Here in the vlog you named I think 4 or 5 trains that are really rattly. So I'd like to know when you were at the EP to reconstruct the process :D
@@CorvusCoasters Ok that's strange, because that comment saying all but 1 are fine was 4 weeks ago. So... huh? Ok, nevermind, feedback is so paradoxical about Voltron, I think I'll just wait until someone says that it's good now xD
Great video, BTW the panning shots that were super blurry is usually what happens when frame interpolation is used. I see this is a 60fps video so if you used any 30fps footage in the time line and had your editing regime settings set to anything other than 'nearest frame' you get this effect. So I'd recommend either shooting everything in 60 or making the entire video 30 if you want it to be clearer
I don't understand what it doing it tbh. I shot all the footage in 4k60 but am some how still getting tearing, I need to experiment with my export settings to resolve it in the future:)
@@CorvusCoasters hmm, possibly your camera does line-skipped 4K when at 60 which is what happens when the sensor is more than the 8MP needed but to save processing it just skips a load of lines of pixels rather than supersampling the whole thing. Often cameras supersample at low frame rates but lime skip at higher ones. Worth just messing around at home and seeing what changes
Bit late but voltron from my experience is a million times smoother the closer to the front and middle you are. I’ve sat in every row, and middle and front is so much smoother than the wing. Edit: I’ve made it to the end, I commented this after I saw the first ride
A good park ive juat started to go on big ridea last year icon and infusio. In blackpool they have upset my tummy would i have to get used to them more
How do I still get the motion of icon when it goes down the first launch why does my tummy have gravity and g forces pulling my body down and also when it goes down the first airtime drop
@@CorvusCoastersah maybe.. cool to see your Wodan reaction at the end.. did you find it’s a park where you can do what us British do best and expect everyone else to speak English requiring no effort on our part at all? I’m going for the first time in a few weeks.. thanks!
Coasters tend to run faster and overall better after they have a few rounds to get warmed up. It’s essentially just like what you’d learn in physics and chemistry classes! Wheel grease also becomes more liquid-y in the heat, which allows for faster, often smoother motion!
Rides are "cold" when the park opens or when it didn't have many passengers. "warm" when the ride has been running for a while/the whole day. As people below already said: you want to do rides when they are "warm" because that's when they are the smoothest. Usually, the best time is in the afternoon or (even better) the end of the day, right before the park closes.
@@CorvusCoasters btw I'm a big fan of your vids, live and also planet coaster one :) Voltron really surprised me with how intense it was even that its not the fastest or the tallest
From my 20 rides on Voltron I conclude that: ○Row 3 is always the worst, no matter which train ○Train 5 is the "Rattle Train", all other trains are smooth. ○All other trains have a minimal vibration in the outer seats, front row seats are an exception for this. ○Mack Rides and Europa Park are aware of the rattle issue and are working on a solution. ○Train 5 is the worst, Train 7 (the one that valleyed before the opening day) is better but not perfect, haven't tried Train 6 yet, can confirm Train 1-5 are perfectly fine.
I have ridden on all trains and I honestly didn't really feel anything until the last bit which is super positive focused... I can't understand how it can hurt
It depends on the train and the seat to be honest, the left wing on a rough train was horrible, it massively effected my experience of the ride, and others in my group felt the same way. However a smooth train is incredible! :)
@@CorvusCoasters Yeah I've ridden on the bad trains but it honestly wasn't horrible, some of my friends didn't enjoy it as much as I did, maybe I'm just less sensitive 🤣
They're still testing different damper Stiffness and on 1 Train they are Testing Winter Tires. They wanted to finish them til August before the Main Summer Holidays in Germany. But if you get the right train its a lovely blast Ride!
22:24 love that you had the same first reaction reaction as me

What is motion sickness
Why are the doors always open in the pre-launch tunnel?
No clue, maybe they're broken. Or it was very hot that day :)

Yeah most of the staff speak English, on their name badges, there are little icons saying which language they speak :)
What is the difference between a "cold" and a "warmed up" coaster? Never heard of that before

That's a good explanation below, just makes it run faster and smooth most of the time :)
Rides are "cold" when the park opens or when it didn't have many passengers.
"warm" when the ride has been running for a while/the whole day.

i had 7 rides on voltron, 6 of them everything was smooth and fun, 1 ride had this rattle, i think one of the trains has it.
