I think only television companies like KBS are a problem, so live performance fragments from them are a risk. But never did a reactor ever mention problems with regular music from the official channels themselves (at least not with dreamcatcher, mamamoo or loona).
@@teambellavsteamalice Depends on who did the guide. If Wolfie had been a close personal friend of any of the members, they likely would not have been copyrighted. But if you are a little-known channel...you have to be very careful or get sued into oblivion by big companies with insanely large numbers of lawyers.

You won't get sued, it's handled by Google's/TH-cam's system to detect copyright infringement. You can get a copyright claim, so you can't monetize the video. Or you can get a copyright strike, that you definitely don't want. Not sure how, but you can get rid of them eventually.
You have exceptions based on fair use policy, mainly for reviews and satires. Reactions are a grey area. Fair use rights are often mixed up by having an edit, pausing, mirroring, overlaying an image or changing the sound but that just prevents the algorithm from detecting the video.
KBS was mentioned once for being extra douchy, adding claims manually in addition to the algorithm. By law they may be right, but the legal system is so outdated and unfair. Considering the huge number of reaction videos most korean companies must be very relaxed about it.
Watched good a video on how the copyright law works a while ago. Imo broadcasting companies shouldn't even have copyright, but just be allowed to use the rights (that imo should belong to the artist). Same for photographers having rights instead of the subjects. But legally that is how it is. And the time periods are insane, imo 5 years should be reasonable but even 20 is never going to happen...
