"But you know I do, yeah?" I love that ending. Those two have always been side characters with very little to do, but they both absolutely CRUSHED IT in this episode.
Roy's press conference is up there with Rebecca's "I'm a Bitch" confession to Ted in S1 in terms of greatness. They're both turning points for these characters where they become better versions of themselves. They're both amazingly written and acted. They're both signposts for things to come (after their respective episodes) with these characters (although I won't say with Roy what that is, in case you haven't watched ahead).
Easter egg. You know how Colin said that he keeps his head down in the showers and doesn't look at the other players showering? Well think back to S1 Roy was showering and Colin was looking down and didn't notice that the water pressure was fixed and he got blasted in the face and fell over. At the time I just thought it was just silly physical humor, but now we see that there was a reason Colin didn't notice the improved water pressure.
Yeah, I don't think they had developed the characters that much at that point. I don't think it was decided that Colin was gay before the 2nd season. Plus, if you rewatch that scene, Colin is looking up in the shower
@@hcroussette I think he’s looking up so he doesn’t look at Roy showering. He would have explaining to do if he was suddenly aroused while showering next to Roy
yeah this episode really helped make this season good, it was just really well written, good character growth by a lot of the people, the zaza episodes kinda bored me and i started losing faith in this season, as the episodes lacked the depth it had in other seasons. this episode showed why this show is great

The ending of this episode is peak. Colin coming out to the lads, Roy's Presser, and Colin and Isaac reconciling. Chef's kiss!!
I don’t think I’ve teared up while smiling watching a show in my life .. the writers are freaking gold on this show!!

Thank you, Derek! 🥅 #SleepyWaffles #EricaDunton #TedLasso
This is the best episode ever. There’s a lot of them to come.

"If your chest is hairy so is your butt." Really doesn't work that way.
