The dialogue feels rush. In Original was heartbreaking when he saw what he did to the church and the people in there. He know what he did was wrong, The only way he can do is humbly give the money to the priest, not throwing it like worthless in remake. The priest accept it he didn't judge him, instead He knew that there is something good in tommy heart

@Shadow Knight No, that escaleted so quickly in remake. In original the gangsters were shown drawing their weapons evacuating important people. Here they start banging just like that and priest didin't even bother to hide, and Sam presence is useless.
