I am a bit confused. They don't list older cameras as being compatible. I have a Canon 6D and A7S that I use explicitly for milky way timelapse. Do I NEED the timelapse trigger to do "move shoot move" or can I buy a shutter release cable that plugs into one of the modules of the PONS PT head and it will move shoot move? I just want to make sure I can do that before I buy the whole setup. Thanks!
It is super disappointing to buy this system and have zero support. The PONS PT system is shit, it has no precision, it is out of phase, it rotates too much or does not react to the adjustment and pauses when more than 2 stops are selected... the PONS PT only serves as decoration. It works to go from A -B without doing complex pan or tilt like tracking a product. and there is no intention to correct it or show face.
I’m using the Sony A1, time lapse trigger and slider, everything is up-to-date with the firmware, press the shutter release and the camera starts taking photos but the slider, pan and tilt is not moving. So frustrated. Wish I knew what I'm doing wrong.
It works also with Weapon Axis Pro? On your website it says "The timelapse trigger can only be adapted for using with Micro 2 series motorized rail slider"
Hi there. Thanks for the video. Could you please supply more information regarding the camera setup? Im using a Fuji XT2 and have it setup in Manual as you describe. However, like the other poster, the camera settings remain fixed regardless of a change in lighting conditions.
Nikon d750 should be work, could you contact hans@zeapon.com and provide more information? I would like to know which step you followed in the video has issue or the whole process done and TP trigger doesn't work? please let me know in email.
@@ZEAPONTech also the firmware update . It doesnt tell which version that i currently have. And i updated it 4-5 time. I didnt even know it even update. I own both zeapon micro 2 +. And Timelapse trigger.
Thank you so much for the in-depth information. Sadly my slider isn't moving at all and the app doesn't count down. So the camera stays static and just does a regular interval-shooting. I updated all the firmware and I'm using an A7III... Any suggestion?
@@MOTIONTOGRAPHY Actually yes. I had to turn off the "silent shooting mode" within the interval shooting menu in the camera (Sony A7III). After that, I was able to use the "camera mode" of the Zeapon App. But to be honest, I still have not done a proper Timelapse yet, because the weather sucks right now in Germany ;-)
Hi, your review is great and helps a lot. I start to make the camera mode with the timelapse trigger, everything was worked. But I test it inside my room so when I close the lights the trigger didn't change the exposure. I have my camera in a rear sync as you said and in manual mode, I add all the settings for my timelapse, so when the light will change the trigger will change the settings of my camera for smoother results? With kind regards, Ben.
@@bogieDK sorry for the delay, it's another round of lockdown in the city 😞, would you mind purchasing from online stores ? Or you can also contact cher@zeapon.com directly
@@ZEAPONTech no I don’t mind buying it online, but can’t find it anywhere..😔… just bought the Zeapon slider and Would love to review it with some epic timelapse..😜😋
Thank you Zeapon for coming up with these affordable and great technologies
thank you very much for the support!

A standard shutter cable will work. I’ve used the PONS Head with my 6D.
@@shaunmaddox have been testing my PONS PT and Micro 3, using my cables from my Syrp setup and works fine! Thanks.

This looks amazing, great addition for the slider
thank you!
Hello. Can the trigger be connected to the new LUMIX S5II? Thanks
I’m curious as well
Very good day. I would like to know if in the Pons PT. Would a Black magic 6k Pro film camera fit?
Good tutorial. Can I use it without the slider with a wired connection as a stand alone timelapse trigger device as well ? Thx!
불가능
What kind of cable do I need to trigger the Micro3 Slider and for the Sony A7III?
It use the shutter cable.
It works also with Weapon Axis Pro? On your website it says "The timelapse trigger can only be adapted for using with Micro 2 series motorized rail slider"
Yes, it also works with Micro 3 and Axis
How to work with Nikon?
I tested this trigger with Sony A7C but it did not work in Manual Mode. Could you please advise me
it can work properly in M dode?
How to connect Sony a7c or zv-e10 to slider motor with wire without time lapse trigger? What wire should I buy? Didn't find information
Did. you get it to work with a wired shutter ? because from what I know, it won't work on a7c
@@aionz82 Couldn't find the wire. Already bought a time-lapse trigger

Sorry for the late reply, I believed problem solved by reinstall the firmware, right? customer service replied you on email.
we can use it to shoot long exposure? and use in panorama mode?
Sony A7M3 does not have an application installation. Can I still use it?
If you get interval shooting setting in system, then for sure you can use it
this Timelapse trigger is so confusing to use. I have bought one but can't use it. I am using Nikon d750
