Love the idea of a rarities series! Never seen the first 2 tracks before! Can't seem to pinpoint a date for those ones. Dizzy In the Daylight is an outtake from the Bucky Fellini sessions, which ran from December 10th-14th, 1986. (I've read before that Rodney HATES that song!), South Bound Saurez was recorded in a failed studio session at Philly's Third Story Recording for what was supposed to be the Soul Rotation album, September 1991 (the Soul Rotation sessions took place mid-late October of '91) 5-13 were recorded March 1993 in Joe's Buckingham Palace apartment. I counted at least 18 known demos from that session before, but "This Dream" is new to me!
Over the years, I've found 20 demos from various sources. Mind you, I'm counting Shapes of Things in that number as well. The first two tracks were from a rehearsal, I want to say 1984, but I'm not sure where the tape those tracks were sourced from is at the moment. Dizzy in the Daylight is a wonderful song, and I didn't know that it was from the Bucky sessions, I had always thought that it was from the Beelzebubba time since it was the Punk Rock Girl b-side. I guess that it makes sense to hand the label whatever outtakes that you had on hand when you have to make a single. (Not surprised that Rodney didn't like the song, it wasn't really their usual type of song.) South Bound Saurez is fun. I really need to dig through my collection to make another rarities collection soon.

3:21 the best Dead Milkmen song! So cool!
It's so good! A new compilation of b-sides and unreleased material really needs to happen.
Who is MisterLettuce and how did they get all this great Dead Milkmen material I keep finding?
I'm just a leafy green vegetable that hangs out at your local salad bar.
So cool! Thanks so much!
You're very welcome!
So raw its bleeding
It was mooing just this morning.
