It's all about the personal preference of the player. Rob Trujillo (Ex-Suicidal Tendencies, cureent Metallica bassist - for example) plays with his bass practically scraping the floor. That doesn't mean he doesn't play great, it just means he just prefers it low for comfortability.

@JonoftheJonnos When you say you don't like his voice do you mean you don't like the way he sounds or that he isn't hitting the right notes? If its the latter then I don't think you are a good vocal judge. He has a good voice, much better than other singers nowadays. In this performance he sings bits differently, at times he uses more falsetto. I'm not trying to offend you or start an argument with you over this, I'm simply voicing my opinion as I felt that I couldn't not respond
