I appreciate this ^ It will depend how this series performs if I do another bike trip or not, as I lost money with a series awhile ago. I'm currently studying Vietnamese M-F which would help with these videos too. Most people assume I make a lot of money on youtube, but I'm not able to monetize (earn money from) Facebook or Tiktok cause Vietnam is an ineligible country, never made money on IG either. I need sponsorships but no one wants to work with me at the moment (this year). US Government sees youtube as self-employment and I'm taxed yearly despite not living in the USA, paying for employees, taxes, cost to make the video (buy a bike, eating 3x the amount of food, housing, hotel, bike repair, extra money I donate to locals off camera), paying for rent while I'm gone, etc. I may take your advice as I'm debating doing another bike trip of North Vietnam only, maybe in spring. If so, I could make a video announcing this and showing people my earnings to be transparent as possible and the breakdown of everything. I'll brainstorm this, thank you! Also, please don't donate now as youtube takes a large amount, plus I'm taxed and I'd receive less than 50% of whatever you give. have a great day!

Dont feel pressured, the content from a outsider, a traveller is always good to have, especially for us foreigners who might not have the chance or know how it felt from a different perspective.
and yep, the aunties and Uncles, basically EVERYONEEEEE will start swarming and asking your age and if you're settling down..
but thats what makes my vo's side, their culture unique and fantastic.
At least now you have set yourself a goal, to return to those places in years' time, when you either have a partner or kids, it will be just like old times.

It's funny you say this, around 2 weeks into this trip it "clicked" and I stopped translating in my head. The issue in these videos is I'm often chronically tired and when I'm exhausted my Vietnamese is terrible.

Dustin đừng sợ chó rượt nhé,bởi vì ở Việt Nam có một môn thể thao khá phổ biến gọi là Chọc Chó ! Bọn trẻ con chọc cho chó đuổi theo làm niềm cảm hứng,vì thế mà bọn chó cũng biết và đuổi theo hù dọa,nhưng không cắn (hầu hết là thế,hên xui) . Chúc bạn du lịch nhiều vui vẻ.
Nó dí ko kịp thì ko cắn nhưng khi kịp thì rách quần vs nó nhá chứ ở đó mà ko cắn😂😂

Dustin có vẻ yếu về lĩnh vực sinh tồn hay cắm trại nhỉ ? thức ăn phụ thuộc 100% đi mua đồ ăn sẵn , nếu vùng nào hiếm đồ ăn thì coi như đói luôn rồi . nếu có thể thì có thế mua đồ sống như mua tí thịt , con gà con vịt xong ra suối hay chỗ nào hẻo lãnh chút nướng ăn . k mang theo đồ cắm trại thì cũng chỉ cần bật lửa , đồ mồi lừa , 1 con dao sắc là đủ để nướng ăn ngoài trời rồi . làm thế có thêm nội dung mà cũng hay hơn

Handful a reasons, bicycle is slower and you can experience more things, more intense, great exercise, sense of accomplishment, more vulnerable, I've ridden a motorbike around VN a lot, also my lower-back hurts a lot on the motorbike
