    Just bought a ruckus, now I started watching your videos. I'm 6"1 and I want to try those frame extenders, I'm learning a lot keep up the good work. 👍👍👍

    6’2” and no real issues on my stock frame Zoomer. Interesting video as always though 👍

      I guess it depends on the rider :) just exposing options

    now the front pegs are even further tho. i would actually like to ride it to see what it feels like. at 6'1" im comfortable on my ruck but Ive been curious to see how the frame stretch changes the ergonomics

    I know I've seen this video way back when you posted it, but I'm really interested in doing this stretch. Where did you say you can get these? Also, do you think I'd have to change my cables since I don't have an engine stretch?

      12” motor stretch and a 4” frame stretch , I think there is longer possibly

    I worry too much about stretching the Ruckus in the center I'm always worried the aluminum front frame sections going to snap

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My guess is .... no. No requirements just whatever manufacture standards that they use one there own. I am being gentle for sure and if I hit a few hard bumps I felt intend to remove and inspect (for science and other ruckus riders)

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Riney I would feel better if it was steel but it would be really havy🕹 I’ll be careful

    • @MrComradebuttons
      @MrComradebuttons 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      not so much the frame matials.. you took a whole bolt out of the equation 50% of the bolts used to hold the two halves has been removed not good. but i guess no failures means it’s fine?

    I want to say my throttle cable with a 12in Mojo stretch is 101 and I just picked it up on eBay just look up GY6 throttle cables a little bit you could almost make a platform your backpack would fit in that opening good

  • @Tallretrodude
    @Tallretrodude 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    curious if you would need to extend the engine harness on a stock ruckus?

    • @SmallEngineVelocity

      I did not have to when I used this. A little of adjustment but it worked

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No there was plenty of slack for that to just stretch out. Even the fuel line was good. Just the throttle and the brake

    Only white guys need to stretch out a Ruckus. Us Asian guys don't need to do a stretch on a Ruckus. A stock Ruckus is perfect for us Asian guys.

    is that safe?

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Safe as long as you don’t hit potholes and heavy bumps. I upgraded the bolts to 10.9 grade bolts so I was fairly certain I would remain safe.
