I like how the bootleg 212th clone not only is nearly identical to the official release, but also has the darker shade of orange like what we see in ROTS.
I really hope these bootleg guys make a 327th trooper since they have the parts. I'd definitely get a couple to go with Bly, maybe even an extra to upgrade Bly to the new body.
In Australia these guys cost $20 compared to the standard $40 for 1/12 figures, I wanted a bunch in 501st and 212th and it was nearing $1000 in official clones, absolutely love these guys
The Ali Express Clones are superb. Even though the price has risen this year, they're still way cheaper for me in the UK than the official ones. Plus you get more weapons. If the chin is exposed you can heat and peel the helmet off and re-position it. I did it with a clone and a Stormie and painted the heads. I even sculpted some hair on the bald stormtrooper. The Stormtroopers on the new mould are pretty good too, though the helmet shape isn't as accurate as the official ones.
My country has no distribution so I bought Appo a few days ago. (Absolutely best case scenario for getting a real one is 30$) This review makes me feel assured I did the right option.
These are pretty rad! Looks like they'll be great for customs - I hope there's some good Boba Fett bootlegs out there for my own custom purposes but I digress.
I'm definitely gonna try getting some of these when I have the chance. Hopefully the shock trooper will get the same thing they did for Appo soon so we could have Thire as well from the order 66 packs.
Also you could make a 501st specialist from BF2 by painting the arms and legs differently plus adding the yellow marks on the chest. Me I’ll probably try that as well.

Though I agree they could be discounted more, since these KOs have the new mold with the 501st deco, they definitely is a lot of room with the appeal and I think now the base troops are around $17ish.
Awesome! Bootlegs by comparison are cheaper. In my area stores don't carry the clone troopers so I have to buy then off ebay, and their hasbro counterparts are expensive. At least the shipping is free with bootlegs

After getting em I was saying I’m getting a few more after my next payday. Just stinks I get paid once a month. But really I’m extremely impressed with these 2 I got. Can’t help but have my eye drawn to em when look at my shelf. Crazy the ko are better then the original now at cheaper price. I don’t mind waiting a month to get my stuff if like this. Awesome
The Gaming Greats JFO 13th Batallion Trooper is 42,99€ (plus another 5 or so for shipping!) at GameStop's german website right now (that is what a Mandalorian build up pack goes for as well), i can find him at other local fan channel shops for 35,99€ at the lowest. ...decided to skip him, not important enough for me, then the AE version was 19,70€ (shipping included) ... suffice to say by now there are 8 Ali Express troopers mixed in with my Hasbro Clones. I still would not call 20€ "dirt cheap", but i don't think twice about buying another clone for just 20. For 35€ and up ... ooof there better be something very special about it ...and i don't count the packaging as part of the appeal. Heck, after the recent price hikes i'm even starting to get picky now with the Mando line wich is the main TBS thing i collect and i was ALL-IN NO MATTER WHAT on a few months ago... I instantly Pre-Ordered the MAFEX Mando 2.0, that thing just looks awesome, but the TBS stuff... it's getting rough to justify man.

Aren't those a bit pricey to be ko? The Appo Watcher variant costs exactly like a Black Series figure and the others are just a smidge lower in terms of price in that same store on Aliexpress. The only advantage is the availability.
@@ZeroB4NG Well Commander Appo is very unheard of, if you look at any comic book appearances, Appo never had a Kama, if he did, then it’s probably Bow in the picture and wiki just use the wrong clone

It is *infuriating* how these bootlegs are superior in literally every way to the real ones. Infuriating. Availability? Check. Can stand worth a shit? Check. Consistently come with both rifles? Check. Articulation? Big check for older clones and a tie for current releases. Even the sometimes missing trigger finger-tip i'd personally count as a win because it makes it easier to slot the goddamn weapons in. No stupid identical scuff-marks on an army builder? BIG check. Literally right after you posted this they made the Appo figure available without the binoculars. Also how long did these take to get to you? I know the more you order the longer it takes, I wanted to buy these and this video makes me want to pull the trigger
The Appo figure has been available without the binoculars for a while. I just decided instead of buying it straight up to do the headswap to get a more unique basic trooper. These took a couple weeks for me, but they got here unusually fast! Usually takes 3-4.
Given how deliberate 3D animation is, omitting an entire element like that was either intentional or a massive error. Either way their goof up made it canon. lol
He also has a skirt with the Hot Toys (what I called Sideshow for some reason) figure. The original Saga Collection figure did not have one, you're right.

@@edwarddreier2958 what also made Vill different aside from the tan skirt was he also had upside down V patterns on the front of his legs and didn't have the double blue stripes on the side of the legs that all the other 501st had. Also his ammo pouch things on the front of his belt hand like gray highlights

I kinda want this, but then I saw that "Bow" was 22.99 plus tax and Appo was 21.78 plus tax. I made Appo instead using the old Hasbro saga design, tore off a pauldron from Bly and slapped on on an archive, and painted it. It just sucks the bootlegs cost more than what I paid for most clones I bought that were official black series. I was going to get the bootleg version of the Walgreens 187th trooper but then found some official ones for 17.99, same with the game stop ones, bought some 19.99, and got some Umbra gaming greats for 19.99. I just can't justify paying more for a bootleg when I find the official black series for cheaper. I know they haven't made official Appos and Bows, but nearly 25 bucks if you include tax is highway robbery for bootlegs. the whole point of bootlegs was that they were more economical than the official products, but the fact they are more expensive or about the same price is absolutely bloody ridiculous and asinine.

They used to be like 35 dollars, now they are sometimes 60 dollars! Its crazy considering whats going on with the quality of the recent figures

A nitpick but the Official Commander Appo Figure back in 2006 didn't come with an Kama, Maybe paint the Kama with Tan and have a Commander Vill ?
