    Dude Wheeler makes a pair of punches that are flat on side and coated so you won't Mar your upper. One is a punch the other is a roll pi holder. Check it out. If you're like me, one can never have enough tools.

    My GPT-1 definitely does not have a spinning bezel issue like that one.

    Tanx Bryan for those belt recommendations.
    I know that it's not a proper replacement for a climbing harness for sure, but I do a lot of hiking around and I really don't like to take my Corax or etc. also needed something to be reliable in rescue, short rappel and ascend situations.

    For an expedient harness, why not just do a swiss seat?

    I've tried several types of knee pads and now I try to wear pants with the pockets for pads and I make the pads out of foam yoga pads. They offer enough protection yet do not limit motion. And they are cheap.

    For emergency rappel just use a dyneema sling, it's cheap, weights close to nothing and 22KN is more then enougth. Just google for "harness with a sling" for images how to do it.

      +Luis Borges thanks dude, I already know how to make a harness with one or more pieces of webbing (sling or even ropes and cords) but I like to be prepared always and that rappel belts are really great for both jobs (keeping my pants up and replacement for a harness if necessary)

    Audio delay at 11:30 gotta proof those vids!!

    • @ITStactical
      @ITStactical  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TtopMusic That's odd. we clicked your link to the timestamp and saw the audio delay but when we refresh and go to the same timestamp it goes back to normal. Seems like an odd TH-cam processing thing. Thanks for the heads up though, we'll see if we can narrow it down! ~Rob

      @TtopMusic 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +ITS Tactical / Imminent Threat Solutions Yea that is weird! Coming back to it now I'm not seeing the delay either. I guess it's TH-cam's fault then!

    For knee pads, you may want to try paintball pads they work very well and stay up!!! I use a company called Planet Eclipse

    If you want a watch winder, try Wolf Designs. They're about as cheap as you can get on watch winders and still be reliable. After Wolf, you're pretty much getting into European made winders, which go for at least a few thousand. Absurd.

    why choose the 215 riggers belt with a fabric loop, vs a metal loop on other brands (such as an SOE riggers belt)?

    Hey Brian. I have the same Maratac GPT 1 and the bezel on mine did the very same thing when I received it. I have fixed mine and it is far tougher to turn freely now. If you would like I can make a small tutorial video showing you how you can fix yours very easily yourself just as I have done with mine. I can email it to ITS tactical and write attention Brian Black Maratac bezel repair tutorial if you would like. It's a very simple repair. Let me know if you are interested in the tutorial and I'll shoot it your way asap. Thanks. By the way this is #bawatchpix off Instagram. ITS has liked several of my images of my ITS gear in my pics. And I thank you all from ITS for providing excellent info and great ITS gear. Still waiting for the Hypalon wallets to come back in. I own the black one but would love a coyote one. My offer for the Maratac bezel tightening is my thanks for what you guys do for the community. Thanks.

    NITE watches are superb, made in Britain, tritium, the MX10 is NATO approved and has a NATO stock number. I have two and will never buy Luminox again. Check em out.
