oh i've been waiting for this to finally be up on youtube! thanks! what'd you think of it though? there was nothing really new in it that wasn't allready in gary's book, (except it was nice to see the kurtis rush video!) but i kinda expected that anyway. it was still nice to have an entire hour's worth of tv devoted to gary! + every repeat of it that i still watched anyway. i also liked how they spoke about dawn. it was very respectful and very true
sorry, i've just noticed something.... on gary's tapes, the song is "no man is an island".....isn't that a bit like open road?...i wonder if some of his songs has borrowed influenes from his very early days as a writer.....now THAT's talent!

It is possible that that was Open Road, in his book ,A better me, he said that he wrote it when he was 15 or 16 (can't remember it excactly).
