My husband lived for five months after his diagnosis. Ironically he had just received a liver transplant when the cancer was discovered. It was fast and terrible.

My father lived for 9 months with this cancer . He received gemcitabine and cisplatin. Such a aggressive type of cancer. We nearly lost him due to sepsis at the very start. So proud he managed 9 months as I know how quickly this type of cancer spreads. The silent killer 😢

My mother in law was diagnosed with it a month back. Im on hospital duty tonight and the doctor just dropped a bombshell on me by telling me they can't give her chemo or surgery. She has 6 months to live. I haven't told my wife because I don't want to ruin the one night off she has. This cancer is so agressive.

@shfababy My mom had ICC poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with rocket-high CA19-9 2999. She died 7 weeks after diagnosis when she developed obstructive jaundice. Her initial symptoms before jaundice were vague like indigestion and gradual weight loss followed by coughing for ~3months. This cancer is crazy it spreads everywhere like liver, lungs, heart (pericardium), peritoneum...
