- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Bayle the Dread vs Darkeater Midir vs Dragonlord Placidusax Boss vs Boss Fight
Bayle the Dread HP: 41612
Darkeater Midir HP: 41612 (Scaled)
Dragonlord Placidusax HP: 41612 (Scaled)
I've given everyone the same stats to ensure a balanced fight. this way, no one has an unfair advantage, and the outcome will be based on skill and strategy rather than raw power
Bayle The Dread is a formidable Legend Boss in Elden Ring, renowned for its ability to breathe both fire and lightning simultaneously, making its attacks particularly deadly. Encountered in the crater of the Jagged Peak, Bayle The Dread poses a significant challenge to players due to its powerful and potentially fatal attacks. Despite its fearsome reputation, this boss is optional, meaning that players are not required to defeat it to advance in the game's expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree. Engaging with Bayle The Dread can be a test of skill and strategy, providing an intense and rewarding experience for those who seek it. Its unique combat style and the perilous environment of the Jagged Peak add layers of complexity to the encounter, making it a memorable part of the Elden Ring adventure for those who choose to face this legendary foe
Placidusax is a formidable Legend Boss in Elden Ring, encountered within Crumbling Farum Azula. This colossal, two-headed dragon once served as the Elden Lord long before the Age of the Erdtree. Placidusax's rule ended after a treacherous betrayal by his servant, Bayle, leading to a catastrophic conflict
In Dark Souls 3's Ringed City DLC, players face the optional boss Darkeater Midir. Raised by the gods to combat the Abyss, this descendant of Archdragons possesses immense strength. However, Midir eventually succumbs to the very darkness he once fought against, becoming a corrupted force to be reckoned with

I still think disabling the poise is better than equaling it.
and lowering Midir poise damage to 40 in majority of his attacks meanwhile the other two can deal 120 poise damage in one hit some times (which poise break Midir in one hit) is not that fair, he was getting staggered way more often than the other two (it doesn't appear that his poise is getting reset with time either but I'm not sure).
And it appears that Midir doesn't have hyperarmor in his phase transition meanwhile the other two have hyperarmor which results in him being stunlock to death in round two and for a for a while in round 3 too.
And Placidusax laser is bugged he was robbed of victory in the second round.

The way Placidusaxx Dropped bayle and midir was fucking legendary with his lightning nuke
My boy midir deleted bayle in that 3rd fight 😂😂
Fr bro litreally erased him 😭
Fr bro litreally erased him 😭
placidusax was robbed of victory twice: in the second battle, his lasers did no damage and bayle survived to win the battle (with the lasers working, he would have died)
and in the last fight, at a certain point Midir seems to go into berserk mode, starting to do absurd damage, not in line with what he had done up to that point
@@marko87ish In the second fight, Placidusax cheated and did the laser too early, so everything is fair.
Both Placidusax and Midir do higher damage because they are in the same scaling as Bayle so I think the third round is fair
But the second round is BS, Placidusax won that in my book
Now I understand why Bayle and Placidusax both went against Midir at the same time. If they give him even a chance to survive, he destroys them, so they have to go both at the same time, because otherwise they can't handle him.
Midir, The Dread Dragonlord Wins
Ive always wanted to see this fight
In the first encounter you see the hatred of Bayle towards Dragonlord, cus he goes straight forward him and ignores completely Darkeater. 😝
ah yes, the battle of 3 GOATs
2:25 why was placidusax just standing there looking into space while bayle and midir was fighting, and returned back to fighting only to like fifteen seconds later? Also why in the hell did his laser haven't done any damage at 6:34?
@@МаратВасильев The question should be, "why in the hell he did a laser so early?"
@@Artem-eu3uv why would it fucking matter how early he did that or not? The point still stands that his laser did no damage when it clearly should have did and kill bayle and I've bet that the only reason why you saying that this was fair is because your boy bayle won that round even though that his victory was obviously a bullshit
@@МаратВасильев Placidusax might not have lived to see this laser, or he might have made it in a worse way. Placidusax might not have lived to see this laser, or he might have made it in a worse way. The early laser is not a legal cheat.
@@МаратВасильев You can cry about it as much as you want, it looks funny.
@@Artem-eu3uv even if you do think that an early laser is a cheating, it's still doesn't change the fact that not taking any damage from it when it's clearly hitting you is bullshit regardless how you view it
3rd fight shows why they team up against midir in his phase transition,
He literally obliterated them from the existence
Does anyone know why Bayle gets Poise Broken so easily? I feel like every Boss Vs Boss fight I see he does and idk why 😭
midir's damage is crazy
epic u shouldve added king of the storm too or maybe a do him vs consort radahn equal scaling
You should change the music in each round because hearing the same song for 10 minutes is rather repetitive
second round goes to placidusax, why laser did no damage?
perfectly fair scaling, sucks that placi had a stroke in the first round and midir got dps phased in the second and third round cuz all of the lightning omega spam but overall this was balanced, midir and placi still top every dragon (sinh and kalameet are not forgotten, they are still better than bayle as well)
I mean the mods are broken AF I don't think it was fair. Some of all of their moves had no effect sometimes
What happen to the laver attack doing no damage
Equal scaling? Midir deals x3 more damage than Bayle and Placidusax.
Midir hits hard af on his normal scaling, Bayle's scaling is the second highest in the series.
@@s8theninjawarrior916 It doesn't matter, equal scaling means equal conditions.
@@Artem-eu3uv
Scaling works like a multiplier to a base damage value as far as I know you can think of it like
Damage = base value × area scaling
For example Malenia scaling is the highest base game scaling at 7 while Bayle's is the highest in the dlc at 15.
every boss has different base damage and Midir has one of the highest base damage value in the series from what I have seen.
He deals damage comparable to the ER dlc bosses while still in his original scaling of ds3 which is at lower scaling than ER base game let alone the dlc.
So his damage became insane when scaling him to match Bayle scaling as seen in the video.
@@GLA-uw4sq Honestly, I thought that all DS3 bosses lose out in scaling the end game by Elden. In any case, I hope that next time the scaling will not be so evenly distributed. Using the example of this video, let's say Midir and Placidusax received an X2 buff. I would give Placidusax a gain of X1.9 and Midir X1.4. Although in fact, Midir should give resistance boost in X2, but at the same time it is worth not increasing his damage.
@@Artem-eu3uv
It wouldn't be fair If you don't distribute scaling evenly, in this case the boss with will probably lose, and I don't think Midir resistances need to be busted he is already immune to all states effectives, I guess you meant his defenses which also are very high (75% damage reduction on average) so no if you give him x2 to his defenses he will be nearly immune to all damage types.
imo I think scaling isn't a good way to judge how strong a boss is because it depends on which point you supposed to find the boss in game so the late game bosses will always be stronger than early game bosses.
The base stats are better way to judge a boss because they are original values to each boss.
As for the three dragons in the video I will rank them according to thier base stats as follow:
Midir > Placidusax > Bayle.
If you use thier original scaling it will be:
Midir > Bayle > Placidusax.
In both cases Midir infinite poise and poise damage will allow him to stunlock the other two so I will say he has the upper hand most of the time.
Midir is cool and all but man, Elden Ring has the coolest dragons in fiction
Midir the boss !
Deserved victory for being the best dragon
I can tell that midir was clearly overleveled
