It seems hes afraid to even mention himself alongside wilder. Its a shame because its probably the fight he needs to overcome what seems to be fear. This was not a great performance, far from it but glad he got the win but each time you see AJ he seems more tense than the last time. He needs to forget the media and get on with being the best he can.

Nice to see him pick up the win & get a ko. However Wilder will obliterate him inside 5 rounds. If i was a rich man I'd put absolutely everything i own on Wilder by ko. Wilder may lack technique but he knows how to use his length & pure aggression to get his shots inside. If he can land cleanly on Fury. He can land all day on Joshua & that means night night AJ. There is too much savagery in Wilder for AJ who lost the small bit of aggression he had to Andy Ruiz.

@dguitar3831 It's actually a combination of skills, not "just" technique. Although technique is the most important. What i mean is if one fighter is on the front foot & aggressive like Wilder usually is & one fighter is hesitant & lacking confidence as Joshua has been lately. One is gun shy, the other isn't. The aggressive guy is likely throwing more punches & combinations with bad intentions. I know which fighter I'm backing in that case. Wilder is never lacking in confidence, Joshua seems to be constantly second guessing himself.
@user-yk5cy3pt1v How many elites HW has Wilder KO in the first few rounds? Same Wilder that Ortiz drags into the late rounds twice? AJ chin is underrated. Remember that he was stopped on his feet in the only TKO he experienced despite being concussed for four rounds. Both fighters have the power to KO each other, but I think the fight would go into the distance.

He's a egotistical dick but his ko power is the most frightening i've ever seen...it almost doesn't make sense how much power he generates. AJ's chin is definitely underrated after he got up from that massive Klitchsko shot. Ruiz shot doesn't really count, it was behind the ear which seems to effect everyone. However he's never been too hard to land on either, i mean Helanius landed on him last night. Wilder's technique is simple but effective. Just think if he lands anything inside the first 5 rounds, it's over. If it goes the distance it's definitely AJ's fight to lose unless Wilder gets a couple of 10-8 rounds with knockdowns. I think Wilder is also a much better fighter now cos of the Fury trilogy, think he took alot from it. Dunno if I'd say the same for Joshua after Usyk. Love to see the fearless guy who fought Klitchsko again.

You saw it's already evident in Joshua last night, he was there all night for the one two and the 2 over the top. Wilder has the best one two in the game!
