Ancient Israel and Ancient Palestine during the Maccabean Empire. It was a time before Rome established itself in the Middle East, finally crushing Israel.
Our story begins in the middle of the 2nd century BC, when for the second time Israel tries to regain its independence, taking advantage of the favorable geopolitical situation in the crumple zone of the Ancient powers.
The Diadochi states are beginning to weaken. The influence of the Ptolemies and Seleucids is already a shadow of their former power, which Rome is growing into. Meanwhile, after a rebellion in Jerusalem itself, the Maccabee family slowly begins to take power there and play an increasingly greater political role in Ancient Palestine. Soon, thanks to subsequent rulers, they gained partial independence, maneuvering between the Ancient powers. In particular, taking advantage of the Seleucids' mistakes in the international arena of the Middle East. But Ancient Israel itself is also in a dilemma that has been going on for centuries due to the turbulent history of these lands. Let us remember about the tectonic fault of the powers in this region, which caused the diasporas of the nation of Israel. The local population is divided into Pharisees, i.e. a poorer and less educated religious and political caste, and Sadecees, i.e. a richer and better educated class under the influence of Hellenism. Bloody internal trials and the increasingly stronger pressure from Rome will once again lead to the fall of the Maccabean State, which is a prologue to the waltz that will completely crush the State of Israel already in Ancient times.

Tak super film powstania Mahabruszy i wątek Rzymu jest ważny potem jest krwawy okres Heroda wielkiego i innych ludzi którzy są ważni i chciałbym by dalej tak było by były kolejne filmy bo pokazują historię w inny sposób niż Inni producenci.

tak sporo bo trzeba dobrze przygotować się merytorycznie przekazując prawdę historyczną, a okres jest skomplikowany oraz bardzo ciekawy i może być pomocą dydaktyczną jeśli chodzi o okres starożytnej Palestyny :)
