I very much admire the respect that is shown to the dead by Asian cultures. The bowing is beautiful as it it shows the deep most respect and honour. As a Central European, we too remember the dead and visit their graves regularly. It is somehow consoling to know that their mortal remains are there, and their souls are with God. It is so beautiful watch these people honouring this man with flowers, bowing and talking to the father. It’s just so lovely.

Yuzheng is honest enough not to give her false hope, just as he did with Fanlv, but Fanlv was such a brat at the time, that she compromised herself by sleeping with Mr Lin who at the time took advantage of her weakness when she got drunk.
