I haven't seen anyone mention this, but I've had success with the monaveen, which in the ship stats has a 13% isolytic damage bonus where every other ship has 3%.
Janeway(C)-5-E Data is much better than what I was running (E Picard(C)-E Data-Janeway). I can get enough (3.8 k) for a double pull on all three chests. Thanks.
Mitigation and evasion are entirely different ways to reduce damage... Mitigation reduces damage directly, while evasion/doge reduces hits (which, in turn, reduce damage)... The likes of Chen/T'Laan mitigate (reduce) damage, while Tom Paris increases evasiveness... Even though evading hits will reduce damage on the long run, true mitigation WILL reduce Isolitic damage (though the Gorn's Isolitic damage bonuses WILL cause huge damage whenever they hit?! The only way to reduce Isolitic damage damage is to reduce Isolitic damage?! ;P
With the same crew, tier1 ent pic, data and troi, Cerritos boosted and 200% damage boost, I've taken down 7 gorn per pass where I've only been able to take possibly 1 with every other ship. My strongest ship is the jelly since I failed to focus on faction rep
I really think things will get better. I feel the frustrations from a lot of players. It is super bad how this was designed and hopefully we will see some changes soon.
@@GrandAdmiralHunter sorry but I think you are wrong. Scopely is destroying the game with what they have added to the game over the last few months. Paramount needs to pull out of this fiasco.
No chart that I am aware of. I am confident that this means no skipping ships and I think it means getting your ships to around tier 5 at a minimum, possibly 6 or 7. It also means keeping up on research. It is the players that aren’t just “getting by” with the minimum they need till their next ship. Saves materials and is more efficient from the players but I would bet real money that they want you to level ships because it means more opportunities for us to spend. I still advocate for not letting the hem dictate how you play or spend our materials. We don’t have to do all their arcs if we don’t want to….i will be pausing my ops after I get my next ship and only spending money if I want.
Actually stopping playing for 7 days maybe for good can't even do solos in peace lv41 getting hit by a lb 50 blows... At least in COD you have a chance to kill big spenders
Sorry to hear that! I feel like this month is dumb because of the war room. Lots of frustration from a lot of players. I am hoping it won’t be as bad when the excitement of a new arc dies down.
@mousetyron3 yeah I had a 1B ship target me in cardassian space yesterday. Luckily I was using the tally and a riker speed crew so he couldn’t catch me

Good point! I was talking with someone on my discord about this. It may be worth trying!
plus add the ex-borg favor can add up to 35%

I am about done. I can't kill the xindi, silence and gorn, and now I can't do dailies for the chaos of constant pvp

Piercing didn't work because it only impacts normal damage, not isolytic.
How does Scopely determine what ship strength is level appropriate? Is there a chart?
