I've worn Bobbi Brown cream stick eyeshadow for 30 years, and have never needed a primer. It does not crease or wear off during the day (at least, not on me!)
Beautiful, darling! I’ve been wanting to play with cream shadows and simplify my daytime look for days off work. Thanks for giving me the hand I needed and for the love that always comes through in what you do for us!
Great advice! As a mature woman I have just started to use cream eyeshadow. Merit and Trinny London work well for me but your looks have provided greater variety. Thank you
Such a great video. I am not very crafty with doing my eye make up so I almost never try. Maybe I will try these tips😊 thank you and you look so beautiful❤
Such a great video, Gabi! I am looking to learn how to better apply makeup to my eyes, and you have provided three easy ways to do this. Thank you so much.
Oh my gosh, this was so helpful. I'm actually bookmarking it. I love the Refyr brushes that you used. Very helpful, and by the way that blouse that you're wearing is gorgeous on you!! if it's linkable, I'd love to know where you got it.
I’m so happy you found it useful! My blouse is so old that I don't even remember where I bought it! I need to wear clothes that are available online on the channel more because people ask me all the time.
Great video! I've been wanting to try a cream shadow. Also, I discovered your channel two weeks ago and have binged an embarrassing amount of your content 😂 At 56, the blush and under eye concealer tips have been game changers. And ..for my own Christmas treat, I am saying goodbye to my MAC brushes that are so old the brand is worn off and buying new brushes with your generous code. So glad I found your videos and LOVE today's blouse. Thanks, Gabi!
You’re so sweet! I’m so glad you love the videos! 💕 The fact that you’ve been binge watching and finding value literally makes my day. I create content with so much of my heart and soul and when people find it helpful, it truly means everything to me. Welcome to the glam fam Patrice!
I love the third look on me and on you. It’s fast and very forgiving. It’s hard to mess up. You can add more, later in the day. If you need to go out for the evening the smoke can be emphasized for drama or glamour.
Another perfectly timed video Gabi! I have an RMS basket ready to checkout based on your last 2 videos. I also picked the Supernova cream shadow to try. I was about look for video reviews to get a better look at the shade and then your new video popped up!
You’re going to love it! I’m happy this video was helpful! You can use supernova for all of these looks. I reach for it constantly now. And guess what - Rose Marie Swift is coming on my channel on a livestream early next week 🤫
Great tutorial as usual Gabi. I purchased the eyelash heater you showed us in another video and in the information box here and WOW, it changed my eyelash game. I love it. ❤❤❤
I've been wanting to try cream shadows and this easy to follow video makes me excited! Thank you for your expertise, all your wonderful videos and your eyes look marvelous
Sorry Gabi but I can’t pick which one I like best because I like them all! This video went to fast.😢 I could watch you all day. Your voice is so calming. Take care and be safe. Hugs~
Thank you, Gabi. I tried the “…more” drop down to see where your beautiful blouse is from and it took me to another video. Can you tell us where you bought that gorgeous 👚??!!
Your looks are always so beautiful and illustrated so well with the camera editing and your explanations of the process. Thank you, Gabi I'm not sure if cream shadows are for me. They seem like a bit more work than powder shadows. Is there a particular reason you would recommend cream over powder? or the variant of "super shock" style shadow that is a hybrid of cream and powder?
Thank you so much for the kind words. Cream gives higher pigment payoff quicker than powder. You can smudge it on the eyes with your finger, quickly soften the crease and away you go. It looks pigmented and rich without having to build. Powder shadows take more finessing and building plus when using powder you have to deal with fallout.
Love look number 2😍😍😍! I’d love to learn how to do my brows with a pencil because I am hopeless and as a mature woman I am , my brows are more scarce each day 🙄
Thank you Gabi ❤ I finally bought Charlotte Tilbury‘s Eyes to mesmerize in „pillow talk“ as a one and done cream eyeshadow. Because I needed something quick and easy for some of my mornings. And may I ask you: what can I do to keep my forehead mat the whole day. I have oily T-zone and if I put foundation on my forehead, it starts to look caky and super shiny after a few hours. Did you do a Video on that maybe? Greetings from Switzerland!
Love all those looks. Gabi 2 questions… 1. You suggest to use an eyeshadow base before cream shadow but the sigma one you’ve recommended is a cream eyeshadow stick? I tend to use the Mac paint pot in Painterly as a quick eyeshadow base but that too is a cream eyeshadow? 2. That last look the powder bronzer is used in the crease first then the cream eyeshadow but I thought it was cream first then powder?
Hey Trina! Don't get too focused on the names of products because often it is just marketing. The MAC paint pot in painterly works EXACTLY like an eyelid primer and is PERFECT for use before cream shadows. If you have that already, use that. As for the powder then cream question, again, makeup is art and you can do whatever you want. This technique works well for me but you can try it the opposite way if you want. I just find that I like the cream to sit on top of the contoured base.
Gabi I loved this video! Thank you! Very informative! Question, is there a specific reason you curl lashes after mascara? Love the hot lash curler idea by the way💡genius!😘👌
Yes it’s because for a heated curler to work, you need mascara. It’s almost like spraying some hairspray before using a curling iron. The lashes need to be coated in order to lift.
It would be soooo nice if you could make a video about the best cleansers also best moisturizers for every skin typ.Because Moisturizer can ruin a make up 😅 also sunscreens what you like to use without destroying your make up 😊
Great video, Gabi! All looks beautiful. Thanks for demonstrating how to use cream shadow as liner - I've thought about doing this, but wasn't sure how well it would work. It looked lovely on you. Merit has a navy type shade that I'd want to try as liner, as well as the viper. Was that the 03 rephr brush that you used? I ask because they have an even smaller pencil brush, #23, which I own, but not so sure if it would work as it's perhaps too soft. Is a pencil brush preferable to an angled brush when using cream shadow as liner?
@ I think many of us could benefit of a tutorial for beginners, from how to apply the lip liner, lipstick(which formulas are easier), making it last and not get on our teeth pls 😂
I love the one and done look. My eyelids are so janky and uneven, I can't do any of the dramatic looks with multiple shadows and transition shades that some other influencers do.
This doesn't help if you need it immediately, but if you're based in US, it comes in and out of stock at Target. I bought it a month ago after not being able to find it for a while. It was in stock a week ago but is now out of stock again! You can set an alert through the app to notify you when it comes back in stock to jump on it before it sells out again!
i have really hooded eyes and can't seem to make a wing work even after looking up ways to apply wings with hooded eyes. Any suggestions that work for you? Also have almost no eye lashes as I have gotten older, also have small eyes compared to most, any suggestions for applying lashes? I can't get them to look natural when I apply. Thanks so much for your videos!!
Could you please give a tutorial on a simple liquid eye shadow ( Gorgio Armani) in a nudish shade, not the glittery ones, cause am 55+😂, so neeed a nice cool eye look without looking zazzy
I’ve got a few cream eyeshadows. I’m scared to apply them above the crease. I have hooded eyes. Would it look ok to apply it there? If so, how do it do it?
I don't think I would apply it above the crease. I would have to see your face in detailed to tell you for sure but I think it would be best to keep it on the eyelid and contour the crease with a bronzer
How would u describe the shade supernova? Says its a sterling chocolate but looks more lilac. I dont look good in cool shades against my green eyes but this lovely on you.
It’s a bit purple based but not lilac and not brown either. It’s actually a GORGEOUS neutral. I typically look HORRIBLE in purples but this one is extremely flattering I think bc it pulls more warm than cool.

I love that, it sounds like you’ve found your perfect product!
I just purchased Bobbi Brown cream shadow sticks…can’t wait to try them!
Bobbi Brown MUAs explicitly say that the cream shadow sticks should be applied on bare lids.
Beautiful, darling! I’ve been wanting to play with cream shadows and simplify my daytime look for days off work. Thanks for giving me the hand I needed and for the love that always comes through in what you do for us!
You are so welcome! Cream shadows are so much fun. 🥰 I appreciate you talking the time to leave such a sweet comment.
Love this! I would love to see a demo with silver eyeshadow and eye shimmer looks, please! That would be great as we head into the Winter Holidays!
These looks are very do-able and easy to understand and follow. Looove the close up of the eye, makes it so much better!!
All 3 looks are beautiful... not overdone..👏🏻👀🩷 My favorite is #2... its so clean & pretty! Great video, Gabi!🥰❤️💄💋🫶🏼

Excellent tutorial Gabi
Much appreciated
Gabi, these looks are just gorgeous! And RMS is everything for cream eye shadow!

It's so soft and pretty right?

Great tutorial as usual Gabi. I purchased the eyelash heater you showed us in another video and in the information box here and WOW, it changed my eyelash game. I love it. ❤❤❤
It’s super great isn’t it Donna? It works way better for me than a curler. Although the Rephr curler is also amazing 🙌

Great advice Gabi, any tips for people who wear glasses? In terms of application
A heated eyelash curler!!! What sorcery is this!! How come I have never heard about this awesome contraption before!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Ooooh it’s amazing if you have extremely stubborn straight lashes like I do!

Hi Gabi, did I miss you doing a video on how to properly use the Peter Thomas Roth eye fix? I know you said you were going to drop one.🥰
Good tut.❤

I'm so glad! Creamy eyeshadow pencils are my favorite. 😉 Which one do you have? The Bobby Brown ones are really good.
@@GlamGirlGabi Mine are from e.l.f. I think I will try some others as well after watching your tutorial!

A red lip for the holidays pls. ❤
Oh want me to do some red lip color combinations in a video that’s the same style as this one? I can totally do that!
@ I think many of us could benefit of a tutorial for beginners, from how to apply the lip liner, lipstick(which formulas are easier), making it last and not get on our teeth pls 😂
I've never used cream eyeshadow, might have to invest in one. On a different note, what nail polish shade are you wearing it's very pretty!
All beautiful 🤗🇨🇦
Hi Gabi! Do you apply foundation, primer and then the cream eyeshadow? Or do you use the primer before the foundation?
Well now I want a heated eye lash curler 🤩
It’s life changing…
I love the one and done look. My eyelids are so janky and uneven, I can't do any of the dramatic looks with multiple shadows and transition shades that some other influencers do.
🔥🔥🔥
Sigma’s primer is sold out. Is there another eyeshadow primer you recommend?
This doesn't help if you need it immediately, but if you're based in US, it comes in and out of stock at Target. I bought it a month ago after not being able to find it for a while. It was in stock a week ago but is now out of stock again! You can set an alert through the app to notify you when it comes back in stock to jump on it before it sells out again!
Try the Urban Decay eyelid primer. It’s also excellent!
i have really hooded eyes and can't seem to make a wing work even after looking up ways to apply wings with hooded eyes. Any suggestions that work for you? Also have almost no eye lashes as I have gotten older, also have small eyes compared to most, any suggestions for applying lashes? I can't get them to look natural when I apply. Thanks so much for your videos!!
Love that shirt!! Is it still available? Would love to get the details. CC
It's super old! I"m sorry! I don't even remember where I bought it - that's how old it is. However, it comes with matching pants which I LOVE lol
Which color of the primer are you using? Thanks
Unfortunately the eye primer they don't ship to Canada . Do you suggest any other brands for sensitive eyes. Thanks
You should try the Urban Decay one! It's excellent.
@@GlamGirlGabi Thanks 👍
Could you film a detailed tips to deal with short eyelashes video? I am struggling with mine. I do mascara first because I get mascara on my eye lid.
Great suggestion!
Enjoy your shorter tutorials. Thank you
I'm so glad you liked it! Shorter tutorials are so nice for just getting to the point.
Great video
@@GlamGirlGabi thank you!
I didn’t know a heated eyelash curler existed!!
What cream shadow was used in look #1?
❤❤
😊😊😊
Practically: what's the difference between cream and liquid eyeshadows?
If you can't apply with your finger due to disability or some other reason, what's the second best option?
Cream shadows are tempting but with crepey older eyes I don’t like the tugging that doesn’t come with powders
If you get the right cream shadow (or liquid) there is no tugging. Some of the eyeshadow sticks are horrible to use (the creamier ones like Bobbi Brown are good though). Even better if you use your finger because you can pat them on.

Hello, I love your videos, I´ve followed you for years, but I must tell you, the voice in spanish in the videos are so unpleasant both in the voice as well as in the syntax when translating, they use incorrect phrases, and the timbre of the voice is unpleasant, I think they are using the same method that Justin Hickox uses to show videos in Spanish, and... paradoxically in the videos by Justin, if the translation, pronunciation and tone of voice are perceived correctly, it is pleasant, I just want to give a good review for the sake of your growth of your channel in Spanish
