0:51 seeing the ending card evolve to show each dead red merc is the equivalent of DanganRonpa ending each chapter by telling you how many characters are dead
To be honest, everything the RED Team did (Aside from Meet the Soldier) was downright incompetence had it not been for their plot armor. Meet the Demoman? The Sentry would have _immediately_ switched to shooting Demoman after gunning down RED scout... And that is not even considering that when Demoman rants about being a "Black Scottish Cyclops", he notably knocks a Pipe bomb off the table... Which starts flashing and glowing, telling us it is _ARMED._ Meet the Heavy? Heavy would have been sniped midway through walking onto that rock firing his gun. Meet the Spy: There are four ways RED Spy would have failed in... Two of which were shown in this video, and the other two are 1) Sniper would have pulled out his SMG and mowed down spy in those close confines, and 2) Medic would have used either his open hand, his legs or even his HEAD to wallop spy when he gets arm locked, which would have broken the arm lock and given medic a chance to beat up spy. Meet the Engineer is pretty much already shown by Misan (RED Engie was out in the open and in full view of snipers), same with Meet the Scout (Unless you have BONK, don't run straight forwards when engaging a Sentry of any level as a Scout). Meet the Pyro? Pyro wouldn't have gotten so far if the BLU Mercs remembered to use their weapons. Meet the Medic? Medic wouldn't have lasted five seconds after the doors opened. In fact, knowing Soldier players, the moment they see anything resembling a blast door opening, there would have been at LEAST five rockets sailing towards the medic's doors... Meaning Medic would have been greeted by a Warhead about to explode. ...Meet the Sniper ironically has Sniper playing to his strengths: Stay out of the thick of things and pick them off at a distance while avoiding detection. One of the reasons he survived after being spotted was because he was getting shot at by a panicking Heavy and barely managed to get out of the suppressive fire (by hiding behind metal parts of the water tower) once the enemy team realized where he was, which meant the BLU team _was_ somewhat competent. (BLU demoman's frantic shooting was because Sniper accidentally overpenetrated BLU Heavy's skull, destroying demoman's scrumpy bottle and getting it lodged in demoman's remaining eye. It was basically bad luck that it happened, and Sniper notably cringes after that.) Meet the Soldier looked to be more based in teamwork. The only time Soldier could have been gunned down was during the part where Soldier was running out into the clearing, where BLU heavy was firing upon the RED Team.
Removing the spotlight Merc's plot armour is actually a pretty neat way to show off their weaknesses. Engie set up shop in a location where the other team could attack him from outside his Sentrys range. Scout ran in a straight line and into the range of a Sentry. Spy failed to use his disguise effectively.
While the oficial trailers are showing the character abilities/personalities, my series are showing what you're NOT supposed to do while playing them. xD
Can't wait to see who's next on the chopping block, currently there hasn't been a specific order, except for the fact that Engineer and Spy were the last of their respective defensive roles (Defense and Support) but theres scout so-
Yeah, in the beginning the idea would be to make it in order (Scout, Soldier, Pyro, etc) but I think this way is more "mysterious and eerie". After all, even the RED Team don't know who's going to be next! Muahaha! (╯°□°)╯
@@Misantropico Well it would've been the inverse. If Scout was actually Scout, Soldier's arm would've gone through him, since you pass through teammates. So in a sense, that was a spycheck that worked, but Soldier wasn't perceptive enough to realise it. Similarly, Heavy didn't impact Soldier during his charge, but impacted Spy as Scout, which took them through the door. Again a spycheck moment that neither Heavy nor Soldier picked up on. Basically, if BLU Spy had seen either of those, he likely would've called it out, but since he only showed up in the aftermath of it, he didn't see how mind-numbingly close they got to figuring it out, yet fell short.
I like to imagine that in meet the medic it goes as normal until the moment Medic is about to use the ubercharge, only to get market gardened right after he says "I HAVE NO IDEA" causing the epic music stop with a record scratch, before cutting to the rest of the team getting flattened by the army of soldiers. You could also have the soldier that market gardened the medic do that one trombone taunt for comedic effect.
Soldier has one duty and one duty only: pose for a team picture and by God, he's going to keep that position until he receive orders to go back to normal. ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ
I can guess the next Meet the Team (but the BLU Team is *NOT* Incompetent videos: -BLU Pyro air blasts Soldier’s rocket -Pyro does not have Pyrovision and is afraid of BLU Team -BLU team dodges Demoman’s bombs -Entire BLU Team targets Heavy -BLU Soldier Army blow up Hospital -BLU Team dodges Sniper’s bullets
On the part with BLU Pyro, Soldier _waited_ for BLU Pyro to taunt, which locks the character in an animation, preventing Pyro from Airblasting. In fact, Funnily enough, while watching the Meet the Soldier Trailer, BLU Team _Wasn't_ actually "Being Incompetent", it was actually RED team being _genuinely_ Competent, without Plot armor. There is a notable focus on Teamwork, such as where when BLU Medic Sneaks up on Soldier and RED Demoman warns Soldier that Medic was coming "To the Left!", while during the Charge for the control point, RED Scout warns Soldier about the "Sentry Up ahead!", and when Soldier blasts it, BLU engineer was screaming profanities and walloping his sentry, implying RED Spy sapped his sentry gun... And shortly before soldier blew them to bits, BLU Pyro and Heavy were shooting at the area Soldier had come from, implying RED Demoman and Scout had rushed out to pull a Distraction Gambit. The only area I can Legitimately say the RED Soldier could have been gunned down at, would have been during the Charge for the Control Point... Where RED Soldier runs into an open area and you can see BLU Heavy firing at RED Soldier's general direction. Since RED Soldier doesn't have a medic, he should have taken significant damage from BLU Heavy.
0:53 I love how the only one to act rational in the ending title card is Soldier, who's the _least_ rational among them. "Well, if I'm dying, I may as well do it right"

Imagine if Soldier's shotgun didn't fire... I'm sure BLU Spy would be pissed at him but they would still be alive (probably). Thank you, mate! ლ(╹◡╹ლ)
I always thought of something of that after seeing the comments in the actual Meet The Spy, I could personally do it as I know how to use SFM... but I'm too lazy and it's probably not gonna look very well.. maybe one day, lol
It was stated that BLU Spy's line would have ended with "Right behind you", meaning BLU Spy knew who the RED Spy was the entire time.
0:51 i like how soldier is just in his correct stance even after witnessing his narcissistic merc friend get his head blown off
Soldier is not being paid enough to care about what's happening to his teammates. Q(Ò_ÓQ)
From a narcissist to another, no?
However, no matter how his skills are shown to us in the trailer, he still can't destroy the sentry from a distance with the help of sapper.
Imagine if Spy could just throw his Sapper, lol. Sad something like that was never implemented. :P
@@MisantropicoIf my memory serves me correctly, a similar skill was implemented on one of the TH-cam channels dedicated to TF2 fan weapons. And this skill could only be used on fan servers. And when they demonstrated on the same channel how this skill will be used in gameplay, I can say that, although it gives the advantage of a spy, but it's not particularly great.Well, still, I think that on the official servers, his favorite backstab will be enough for him.
The first scene I didn't thought of that, and probably that's the smartest thing soldier ever said
It's scary when Soldier says something that makes sense. o__o'
0:51 seeing the ending card evolve to show each dead red merc is the equivalent of DanganRonpa ending each chapter by telling you how many characters are dead
Ironically, by making the BLU team more competent, you’re making the RED team incompetent, so great job! :D
"Balanced as all things should be." (⌐■_■)
To be honest, everything the RED Team did (Aside from Meet the Soldier) was downright incompetence had it not been for their plot armor.
Meet the Demoman? The Sentry would have _immediately_ switched to shooting Demoman after gunning down RED scout... And that is not even considering that when Demoman rants about being a "Black Scottish Cyclops", he notably knocks a Pipe bomb off the table... Which starts flashing and glowing, telling us it is _ARMED._
Meet the Heavy?
It was basically bad luck that it happened, and Sniper notably cringes after that.)
Meet the Soldier looked to be more based in teamwork.
While the oficial trailers are showing the character abilities/personalities, my series are showing what you're NOT supposed to do while playing them. xD
0:49 Soldier still doesn’t care
And he probably won't care until the end, no matter what. :P
@ :P
This was so realistic that it was even better than the original.
Lol, thanks mate, that means a lot! But unfortunately, in this Universe, we never got to see "That would be your mother" scene. xP
Muahaha! (╯°□°)╯
@@Misantropico This sounds like a plot to a movie where people know they are gonna die but don't know when
Or better yet.
When Soldier grabs "Scout's" shoulder, he should've realized:
"Wait... My hand didn't pass through you... Your hitbox is solid!"
Yep, or when "Scout" is thrown inside the room and touches the briefcase so Spy's disguise would disappear and he would have nowhere to run. x'D
You gotta give him credit, he was competent enough to kill the sniper
True, maybe BLU Sniper was lagging or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Engineer doing the Peter Griffin Death Pose got me in the end.
That death pose is already a classic. xD
Im still surprised you didnt make Soldier say "It was obvious, he was the red spy!" and then dancing 😅😂
Yeah, now that I think about it, that would have been funny. x'D
Engineer really thought it be funny to suprise someone for entering that door.
The most harmless prank in the Badlands be like:
This is great. I also half expected the Sniper to be wearing razorback and the medic to somehow try to heal the spy but realised he's a fake.
Lol, that would have been funny, but sadly, Spy died to Engineer while trying to invade BLU's base. e.e'
To be frank, Sniper being competent would have had him grab his SMG, as in those close confines, he cannot miss.
Now we need to see The Creation of Mimi Sentry but the BLU team isn't incompetent.
Lol, well, I think you're going to have to ask TheHypedScoot to do that. x'D
There are SO many hints in that video that the Scout was the Spy you could make an entire video off of it.
Lmao I was thinking Soldier would notice Spy when he pushed him out of the way
That could have happened, lol. His arm goes right through "Sout" and touches the wall behind them. Spy gives an awkward smile. x'D
0:52 I love how Soldier never changes in any of these videos
Soldier has one duty and one duty only: pose for a team picture and by God, he's going to keep that position until he receive orders to go back to normal. ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ
I always assumed that the code actually was 1111 and that Soldier got it correct
I can guess the next Meet the Team (but the BLU Team is *NOT* Incompetent videos:
-BLU Pyro air blasts Soldier’s rocket
-Pyro does not have Pyrovision and is afraid of BLU Team
-BLU team dodges Demoman’s bombs
-Entire BLU Team targets Heavy
-BLU Soldier Army blow up Hospital
-BLU Team dodges Sniper’s bullets
Haha, those are great ideas, ngl. Let's wait and see who's going to be next! e.e
0:35
This was great btw, good idea, and lovely execution
0:53
I love how the only one to act rational in the ending title card is Soldier, who's the _least_ rational among them. "Well, if I'm dying, I may as well do it right"
Soldier is going out with HONOR! What a Mann. (⌐■_■)
Just wait until they find out that blu scout ALWAYS forgets because he's too busy with that ms pauling sign
Yeah, you thought i didn't know HUH, SCOUT!?
Imagine if that was the real plot twist of this video: it actually was the BLU Scout, but he just forgot the code. e.e
For once Scout didn't have a terrible fate on my videos. xD
He forgot to check the code before enter the base
Classic rookie mistake. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Imagine in medkit’s video his uber runs out and then he and the heavy just get ganged up on by an entire team full of soldiers cause no way is uber that long
I like how soldier is completely unfazed in the end card
Soldier is not being paid to care, apparently. ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ
Quite realistic, considering that your enemy won't always be more inexperienced.
0:55 I mean, Sentries in game can turn 360°, so ig Engi knew that so he got cocky and didn't care about the sentrie's position that much, so Spy just took advantage of this small delay to zap it.
True, and as we all know: in TF2, one small mistake leads to the enemy team capturing the objective and being HELL to take it back. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love that in the last scene the only one posing normally is Soldier
Average spy gameplay on 2fort
Pyro Gaming.
@pyrofromtf2 Pluh gaming
puh game
Honestly I'd believe that BLU teammates would shoot "Scout" for not knowing the code. After all if he wasn't a Spy, everything but Soldier's rocket would go right through him
Yep, thank Heavens friendly fire doesn't exist on TF2's Universe, that would make Spychecking hell. D:
@@Misantropico Having to kill all of your teammates on the offchance one of them is a spy? Fair and balanced
Now imagine Meet The Pyro, where instead of being friendly with the Pyro, the BLU babies would have acting rude to him in his dreamscape, and in reality, the BLU team manage to throw water at Pyro and beat the crap out of him...
Pyro's worst nightmare, that's for sure. xD
Here's the _WORSE_ one... It isn't _WATER_ that gets thrown at Pyro...
Alternate Title: Meet the Failing Spy.
0:55 Oh, come on, give him a break. He's clearly new to TF2! :P
also love how BLU Spy drops Sniper's corpse just to laugh at the RED Spy's misfortune lol
BLU Engie still hasn't figured out how to turn his Sentry, how adorable. x3
And yeah, why respect the body of your deceased teammate when you can just Schadenfreude the enemy? :D
Btw those emojis in subtitles are hilarious. :)
Lovely videooo
Haha, they enhance the viewing experience, aye? (=^ω^=)
Thanks, mate! Hope you're doing well. ^^
i love how soldier is still in his meet the team pose
AMERICA told him to do that pose and BY GOD, he's not leaving that position. (⌐■_■)
I love these so much, im so excited to see what you have cooking for the rest
Ayy, thanks mate! It may take a while but rest assured that all the Mercs are going to receive their own video! ≧(´▽`)≦
I bet the Medic is gonna be Exhausted going forward. Also love how Soldier still doesn't care. You could write a Jimmy Cracked Corn Parody.
Engie got Killed, the Soldier don't Care
Scout got Killed, the Soldier don't Care
Spy got Killed, the Soldier don't Caaaaaaare…
He doesn’t get enough Pay!
Soldier is not getting paid to care about his teammates feelings! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
I was honestly expecting Soldier to fall off the stairs at the first part, I dunno why also MORE FOOD THX FOR FEEDING ME!! :D
Haha, yeah, I can see Soldier falling down on a important moment like that. x'D
lol i wondered how that would play out
very nice
Now we have an answer to our questions! (╯°□°)╯
Me at age 12 would have been so happy seeing this
Hopefully it also made you happy nowadays. ^^
Mercenary's faces
Heavy red : 😟
Sniper red : 😞
Pyro red : 😃
Medic red : 😥
Soldier red : "Mewing moment"
Demoman red :🤨
Please make this into a series.
Edit: It seems you already have. Keep it going!
There are more to come, that's for sure! | (• ◡•)|
Sometimes, I wonder if blu team is just filled with idiots, or if the red mercs just have plot armor.
Maybe it's both. lol
0:51 soldier holding the rocket launcher the wrong way makes that so much more funny.
Classic Soldier stuff. xD
MAN!!! The amount of detail and smooth animation and movement are incredible!! Well done!
Those are really kind words, partner, thank you! Animating is always fun and putting these little details in the background make the scenes feel alive and dynamic. I'm happy you liked them! ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ
You are Speaking Facts! 😂
to be fair, if anyone is going to consistently forget the door code it'd be scout
Yeah, lol. I'm sure the guy would be too busy thinking about himself to remember any other information. x'D
@@Misantropico Or women
spy will not be able to visit scout's mother 😥
What a cruel world we live in. ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽
0:24 Darn, that's a cold scene ngl. With the raising weapons and their respective expressions.
They were ready for business. (⌐■_■)
Next is demoman
I like the attention to most details in all the “Meet the team”s because of the 9 classes there are only 2 would expect to forget a four digit code, and that is Soldier and Scout
True, Soldier cuz' he's stupid and Scout because he probably can't pay attention to other things that are not about himself. e.e
@ mhm there is also the little details that if you know the personalities and some facts you can deduce the scout is Spy, a lot of people point out the “you can’t cut yourself on the safe side of butterfly knife” the other one thinking on it is that the scout would never ask for help opening a door or for most anything, he’d play it off like “yeah I almost ripped it off the hinges” or some lie like that xD
Well soldiers still not see his team dead but just doing the pose
I'm sure Soldier has no idea what's going on around him, so he's just doing the pose. :>
i love how there isn't even a frame of spy's eyes widening, one sec they're normal and the next he's doing an "oh, merde." expression when he realizes the sentry can see him
Instant regret and despair right there. o__o'
only 6 more to go.......
The number keeps getting lower and lower... ʘ‿ʘ
I can't believe I never thought about the fact that Scout couldn't go through that door because he was the red spy... Where did he leave the real scout, I wonder.
You verion is fantastic :) Amazing job.
It's funny to imagine that nobody could stop the RED Spy's plans, until a door blocked his way. x'D
Thanky ou, mate! I'm happy you liked it! ლ(╹◡╹ლ)
Medic was like "what is happening !!!"😱
Heavy and sniper was like:"OMG ,WHAT ARE THOSE PICTURES"😨
soldier is just chilling
Demoman is tired of this team😒
And pyro tried to save the dead enginer😂
One by one, their team is getting smaller, lol. At least Soldier seems to be fine with that. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
He will maybe be the last one alive
😂
As I'm usually on BLU.. and that's not a personal preference or anything, just where auto balance always puts me when I join.. but I still appreciated this..😊
hi misan a im back :D
Ayy, welcome! Thank you for subscribing to the channel's Membership, mate! Hope you enjoy the ride. ≧(´▽`)≦
SOLDIER IS STILL THERE, NOT MINDING BUSINESS FOR THE WHOLE THREE VIDEOS
Keep it like that (till he’s ded)
It's not facing a wall, it's facing a door. Blue engie was just protecting another entrance.
Thanks for the video!
Oh yeah, I can see the enemy opening that door and being blasted right away lol, I just find it funny how Spy got into the base somehow and was able to attack from behind. :P
And ayy, it's my pleasure! (=^ω^=)
That’s…actually pretty insightful. Especially that Engie moment.
To be fair, Scout on either team is second to most likely to forget the code. (Only rivaled by a drunk Demo.)
I can see the Mercs giving Scout a really important task and he just ignoring/forgetting it after 10 seconds, tbh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This was amazing as always :P
Cheers, partner! (=^ω^=)
I like how Soldier stand still while Heavy and Medic are panickes X)
Pyro trying to revive Engineer is also so cute X) despite all the fact he can a high number of corpse X)
Heavy and Medic know what's coming for them, and yeah, poor Pyro... at least Engie will revive and see his friend again later. ^w^
@Misantropico if Blu Team isn't not incompetent again X)
As always, great work and animation! I love it so much.
Ayy, thanks, mate! Always happy to bring new animations! ⊂(。╹ヮ╹。)つ
Soilder would be last one standing and still shows no reaction "Nope, not gonna move this spot"
Soldier does NOT fear death! He has a pose to strike and by GOD, he will stay in that position! (╯°□°)╯
Love it id like to see this turned into a series with the other classes
I'll totally be making more of these, that's for sure. I already did the Scout/Engineer ones, if it interests you. ^^

Haha, thanks! Yeah, it's always fun balancing them as a mix of helpful subtitles and silly jokes. ლ(╹◡╹ლ)
